• Organizes and undertakes audits of assigned areas to ensure that infection prevention and control related procedures are being carried out in accordance with Centre’s policies and procedures.
• Conducts teaching for nursing, medical staff and students in infection control practices and guidelines.
• Reviews and prepares reports on infections and other related statistics required by MOH and other departments upon requests.
• Acts as resource person on issues relating to outbreaks and infection control issues.
• Takes on additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the Chairperson, Infection Control Committee and / or Head, Nursing.

Job Requirements

• Min Degree in Nursing w min 3 yrs of relevant perm inpatient & senior nursing experience, preferably in gerontology/palliative care w Advanced / Specialist Diploma in Geriatric / Community Nursing
