We are working on an exciting opportunity and looking for a Finance Business Analyst with focus on Treasury & Tax to support our client, a well-established and renowned MNC. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a leading global company in its field. This is a 12 months contract with possibility of extension.

The Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Finance, having worked in Tax, Cash Management, Trade Finance or Treasury, familiar with Treasury processes and how Backoffice operates.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in project scoping, analyzing business requirements, driving system implementation, support continuous improvement efforts, conducting testing and providing ongoing support.

• Assist in defining and capturing the scope statement for projects/enhancements in the team.
• Understand business processes to analyze requirements and develop solutions.
• Collaborate with process owners and end-users to capture detailed business requirements.
• Work with other analysts and development teams to capture system requirements and design technical solutions.
• Configure systems, set up security/authorization, create user documentation, design data interfaces, and manage data migration and reconciliation.
• Optimize business performance by improving alignment between processes and system in collaboration with process owners.
• Develop and agree on test scripts, run unit and system integration tests, and plan and execute user acceptance tests.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Physical commodity trading / metals & mining domain knowledge.
• Derivate trading for cleared and OTC transactions.
• Good grasp of physical contract capture, scheduling (logistics) and invoicing.
• Proficiency in English.
• Exposure to account treatments and month end processes – desirable.
• Understanding of international VAT/GST taxation.
• Solid understanding of backoffice responsibilities: Cash Management and financing models.
• Back office and ERP (SAP) integration – desirable.
