What you will be doing:

• Determines corporate cash requirements and maintains appropriate cash flow.
• Prepares cash flow forecasts and research on variances and trends.
• Bank guarantee/SBLC issuance and management.
• Facilitate intercompany settlements
• Bank account and documentation management, where applicable.
• System integration and bank migration into banking partners.
• Assist in evaluation/implementation in Corporate Treasury activities or ad-hoc projects for Treasury from time to time.
• Liaison with Intercompany, Payments, Tax and Legal teams.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

• Minimum 2 years of banking and finance experience
• Knowledge of cash management activities and financial analysis along with the ability to understand and apply concepts
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, financial statements, practices and procedures as well as banking functions
• Skill in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving
• Ability to create complex spreadsheets and demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, accounting, reporting and other related software
• Ability to prepare financial reports

Function Overview
The Know Your Customer (KYC) Controls team has a regional exposure covering the controls against money laundering and terrorist financing for different entities of Nomura in the region. The requirements for compliance are conferred by regulations and guidelines in different countries.

Role description

• Conduct name screening for client on-boarding or periodic review due diligence for Wealth Management clients, counterparties and other parties
• Ensure name screening alerts are handled according to Bank guidelines and procedures
• Ensure client information and documents are validated / updated correctly for name screening
• Ensure proper reasoning and justification on any escalations to FCC, Legal & Compliance teams
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, oversight and with cross region teams
• Flexible and be quick to adopt change in policies, systems and requirements

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Banking/Business/Economics/Finance
• Preferably with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in KYC
• Knowledge of AML/KYC regulatory requirement in Wealth Management / Private Banking
• Team player and willing to take on adhoc initiatives and projects
• Accuracy, attention to details to avoid errors
• Proficient technically and analytically
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge and skills on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

• Analyze the Claims Trends and Cost Analysis, Direct Billing v/s Pay and Claim Ratio

• Price Inflation Study

• Analyze statistical data to determine probability of risks, abuse, waste, fraud or financial impact.

• Create the Provider Score Cards

• Data mining and data analysis are required for conducting investigations on provider claims.

• Analysis of provider performance and compiling deviations per provider type and per network
