• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems design, preferably in robotics.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C, C++) and development tools.
• Proficiency in PCB Design, Development and Fabrication (Autodesk, Altium etc.)
• Strong prototyping skills in PCB design and inhouse fabrication
• Minimum 3 years experience in managing PCB manufacturing with external vendors
• Proficiency in managing PCB BOM and component selection based on life cycle requirements.
• Experience in conducting PCB tests for EMC compliance (under CE, UL, PSB etc.)
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols.

Job Description :

• Coordinate all related construction matters with the Subcontractor/ Consultant/ Client.
• Resolve technical problems at site by developing solutions to problems with the application of engineering concepts, practices, and techniques.
• Plan and schedule work progress for construction operations & develop micro schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants on the day-to-day inspection on-site and resolve discrepancies and other detailing problems in the construction works with the consultants and superiors.
• Assist project manager to prepare daily/weekly and monthly site reports and submit to the planning department.
• Prepare all method statements, drawings, and risk assessments for the client to review.
• Review and verify all Civil and Structural related engineering works are complying with the requirement.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Rolo Robotics, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing mechanical components and systems for our robotic solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Job Description

• Design and develop mechanical components and sub-systems for robotic food preparation applications.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers for system integration
• Lead and mentor junior engineers in mechanical design and development.
• Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to adopt state of the art technologies
• Attend training and workshops to stay updated of the latest automation systems.
• Oversee the fabrication and testing of prototypes.
• Optimise designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to peer engineers
• Provide training to Deployment team and facilitate feedback sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automation.
• Prior experience in one fully product life cycle (ideation, development, manufacturing and deployment) is desirable.
• Proficient with rapid prototyping using 3D printers, Laser cutters, CNC machines etc.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Onshape).
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with FEA and other simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop the next generation FPGA & SOC based artificial intelligent software Platform.
• Work closely with suppliers to support the FPGA/Linux software development in machine learning, computer vision, video coding and transmission and etc.
• Work together with advance solution team to deliver AI platform into different customer applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Computer Engineering or Equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with FPGA design, embedded Linux software development, or related
• Successful completed FPGA or embedded Linux designs from concept to production
• Familiar with common processor interfaces (PCI-Express, DDR3/4, I2C, SPI, RS232, MDIO, XAUI, MIPI, etc.)
• Experienced with Xilinx Vivado IDE including synthesis, simulation, place and route, timing closure
• Familiar with Vitis software platform is a plus
• Experienced with embedded Linux based BSP customization, software framework and application development
• Exposure to integration and debugging tools, such as oscilloscope, logic analyzers
• Able to work independently
