Responsibilities

• Manage the acquisition, delivery and commissioning of capital equipment, turnkey solutions and ancillary fixtures/ tooling
• Industrialize additive manufacturing capability through the development of new process and procedures
• Manage the transfer of new products and know-hows from pre-production site to manufacturing site for mass production. Successful candidate will be expected to be posted overseas for training and technology transfer

Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Responsible in executing directives as set forth for the Quality Assurance Department in meeting management objectives.
2. Implement and maintain a system of auditing the facility and periodic calibration of test, measuring equipment and tools.
3. Manage and supervise a team of inspectors / technicians in meeting departmental quality goals and production schedule.
4. Manage customer complaints, corrective and preventive action programs.
5. Administer and manage continuous improvement program for all QA processes.
6. Work closely with customers, production and suppliers to meet the quality requirements.
7. Review / prepare, administer and implement Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection Test Plans and other Operational procedures in accordance to the technical specifications, customer's surveillance requirements, and good manufacturing / engineering practices, and enforce the same on Operations in their execution.
8. Work closely among inter-department to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
9. Manage the implementation / schedule of calibration control.

Competence Requirement

• Preferred to have NTC / Diploma / Degree in Precision / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum three years of relevant experience in Equipment Manufacturing Industry preferably wire bonding Equipment (Ball Bonding/Wedge Bonding/Die Bonding)

1. Develop new procedures and Best Known Methods (BKMs) to service new products. Contribute to the FMECA process.

Description:

You will own the end-to-end design, development and validation of hardware required to enable chemical vapor deposition (CVD) processes. You will work with a passionate cross-functional team to generate design concepts, and as the mechanical engineering lead you will be responsible for engineering analysis and documentation for your piece of the project:

• Identifying design tradeoffs and risks to choose best path to solution
• Identifying and performing experiments, data analysis and applying scientific methods to reduce design risk early
• Running analysis (tolerance, thermal, flow etc.) to prove designs will meet intended objectives

In the prototyping and validation phases, you will support internal and external teams in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving issues found at the component and system level and will be multidisciplinary in nature.
