• Prepare the commissioning before going on site
• Schedule and conduct daily tests according to commissioning
• Required installation of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Participation in level 6-5-4-3-2-1 testing on site
• Act as sparring partner towards the customer
• Ensure that time schedules are kept
• Analyse and solve problems that may influence the commissioning
• Participate in building and safety meetings
• Training for the customer of operators, service staff, etc.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements in internal BGMS
• Act as daily BEUMER Group safety representative on-site and ensure observance of safety regulations
• Daily contact to customer and project management at BEUMER Group as well as to other suppliers on-site
• Preparation of progress reports, log lists, budgets as well as up-date of documentation on-site
• Plan own and local employees work every day.
• Ad-hoc site support

Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering
• More than10 years relevant experience in commissioning of automation industry control systems.
• Experience in airport BHS PLC control system
• Proficient in Siemens-S7 (or TIA) PLC programming
• Committed and good team player with the ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Strong analytical abilityAble to travel more than 350 days a year worldwide
• Able to work in a culturally diverse environment

Job Description

a) To report to the Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

i) Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.

ii) Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.

iii) Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.

iv) For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.

v) Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.

vi) Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.

vii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Job Requirement

- Degree in Civil Engineering/ M&E Engineering

- Mininum 2 - 5 years' experience working in construction industry

• Asst PM in all related project engineering tasks.
• Technical order execution (from order hand over from sales up to delivery).
• Manage project through various stages (basic, detail engineering, cost control) to ensure all contractual requirements (time, quality & cost) are met prior to shipment.
• Review of contractual documents and technical specifications.
• Define technical requirements of mechanical equipment, apparatuses and instruments.
• Prepare equipment data sheets, drawings, plant layout and P&ID.
• Maintain electronic project folders in good order.
• Keep proper record of scope changes (cost impacts) initiated by customer and manage change orders.
• Furnish drawings and documentation to customers as requested in customer’s contract.
• Schedule and coordinate customer inspections (if required).
• Participate in customer meetings as and when required.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and customers to meet project schedules.
• Compile final documentation to customer to ensure proper installation and orderly start-up of our systems.
