Solution Architect is an experienced consulting engineer that takes partin all sales activities in ASEAN.

This role leads all technical activities in the sales process with full project and solution responsibility from the opportunity phase until it is ready to be handed over to the post sale phase. The Solution Architect collaborates closely with an experienced Account Executive to achieve the best possible outcome in a consultative sales process. The candidate is expected to have consulting level skills and the ability to rapidly adopt new technologies and products (including various AI based solutions) is key to the role. This means the typical day-to-day activities include giving product and high-level solution demonstrations to potential customers, translating the customers’ requirements into high level designs, liaison between the customer and other AudioCodes employees to finalize the design and play a ‘hands on’ roll in POC activities.

This Solution Architect position requires a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the technical field of Data/VoIP/Telephony SW and HW. The Solution Architect should have system hands-on and engineering capabilities allowing him/her to understand specifics of the customer requirements and use a consultative approach towards a solution based on the best match of both AudioCodes and partner products.

The Solution Architect is part of the region’s sales organization and of the AudioCodes world-wide Solution Architect team. It is expected that this individual acquires in depth knowledge in all AudioCodes products and services. The ability to quickly learn new technologies and products is key to the Solution Architect role.

During the post-sales phase, the Solution Architect will remain in contact with the customer to make sure they are informed on relevant news products and technologies. Occasionally the Solution Architect might be asked to liaison with other AudioCodes resources when technical issues are escalated or arise during the implementation phase of a project.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Provide a consultation level service to the customer, in UCaaS and CCaas deployment and migration to digital transformation.

· Provide technical assistance to the sales force during (on site) sales calls.

· Provide pre-sales technical support (including going hands-on when necessary).

· Affinity with innovative technology in the IT space, such a conversational AI.

· Can deliver engaging customer presentations, both in customer meetings as well as seminar/webinar format.

· Provide technical support during first time installation of new products together with AudioCodes partners and end users.

· Pre-sales technical interface to the channel/partner while nurturing and managing technical knowledge transfer to the partners.

· Analyze the technical fit of AudioCodes’ products and services against the prospects’ and customers’ requirements.

· Delivering hands-on product demonstrations, hence product setup knowledge is a requirement.

· Provide product training to customers during the pre-sales phase.

· Lead Proof of Concept activities in the region.

· Lead RFP’s/RFI technical responses.

· Provide technical assistance to Marketing for regional events (e.g. seminars, road shows etc.).

· Supervise and manage interoperability tests for systems being the interface between the customer /carrier and AUDC Product Management & Business Line.

Requirements:

Education:
-Engineering or university Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.

Experience:
-Relevant experience with regards to VoIP, including SIP, SBC, and IP-PBX

· Minimum 5 years in UC (aas) and CC (aaS).

· Experience with public cloud services like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, but also Azure Communication Services, AWS, or Amazon Chime.

· Experience in Microsoft based solutions selling to enterprise IT groups, including projects deployments and managed services, based on Microsoft infrastructure and applications – An Advantage.

· Knowledge of Contact Center solutions (Genesys, ININ, Avaya or others) – An Advantage.

• Be the competence center for branding and strategic marketing communications for Performance Materials Asia Pacific business unit and mentor the communications team within the Unit on these topics.

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:

General

1. Lead, supervise, and develop Junior Engineers in setting up equipment, troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.

2. Remain up-to-date with outdoor broadcast technology and equipment.

3. Guide the Junior Engineers to read technical (Auto CAD) engineering drawings and plan for their training where needed.

4. Ensure procedure for video equipment testing and preparation is in place.

5. Ensure adequate processes are in place for communication/escalation of technical related problems that arise during a project.

6. Keep the Engineering environment (Warehouse, Engineering Room and desks) clean, functional, safe and presentable.

7. Ensure compliance of engineering procedures with Health C Safety guidelines.

8. Work with Head of Engineering to improve and test system designs.

9. Monitor physical and technical quality and appearance of broadcast equipment. Prepare the maintenance C improvement report.

10. Manage and monitor the mobile unit broadcast engineering operations and perform preventive maintenance C troubleshooting.

11. Plan and maintain a list of specific categories of broadcast equipment which require scheduled maintenance.

During Project

1. Support the project for technical issues when on rotation. To monitor support

email and respond to communications received from project.

2. Ensure that the broadcast equipment and systems are running. Solve/escalate

problem to Unit Manager providing technical specifications of problem, i.e., what

has been done to troubleshoot problem and outcome. If there is no Unit

Manager, escalate the problem to Support team directly.

3. In the absence of Unit Manager liaise with client and ensure that the client's

needs are taken care of and communicate them with the Support Team.

4. Ensure Unit Manager is informed of all issues on site, especially interactions with

client.

5. Ensure equipment and general safety is reported to Unit Manager on job.

6. Protect company's assets, brand reputation and image, and report any related

issue to Unit Manager.

7. Assist Unit Manager to fill up fault report form and interpret technical

specifications.

After Project

1. Ensure de-rig of video / broadcast equipment is safely completed after event and

ensure the equipment are properly packed in correct cases.

2. Support Unit Manager in preparation of technical reports and crew report of the

project.

3. Write technical feedback on the overall system and setup to the Head of

Engineering.

4. Take necessary actions based on technical reports provided by Unit Manager.*

5. Conduct testing of video equipment after the project. Report any faults which

were not addressed onsite using the Fault Report Form.*
