[What the role is]
Enterprise Singapore’s Corporate Communications Division plays an important role in shaping the perception of the organisation as the lead agency that grows stronger enterprises, develops Singapore as a leading global trading hub, and builds trust in Singapore enterprises, products and services through quality and standards.
We engage the business community through various media, marketing and event initiatives, growing stronger enterprises by building the Singapore brand across key global markets and industries.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to produce events from conception through completion. Our ideal candidate will be able to organise memorable events that meet the intended objectives both creatively and consistently.
[What you will be working on]
You will be instrumental in planning, coordinating and executing events and activities, such as business conferences/seminars, exhibitions and networking events. You will be required to manage multiple events at the same time and consistently deliver good quality support for all events.
Job responsibilities include:
1. Oversee and manage budget for events.
2. Work with internal stakeholders to develop and conceptualise event plans.
3. Oversee and manage all matters relating to protocol and ensure that VIPs are accorded with the appropriate level of protocol.
4. Handle procurement for venue and event management logistics required.
5. Oversee the development of event branding such as backdrops, banners, EDMs, signage etc. in line with Enterprise Singapore’s brand strategy.
6. Engage audience using a variety of tools to maximise outreach and create the desired brand image
7. Spearhead new and exciting formats in which events can be executed.
8. Liaise between multiple stakeholders, including internal divisions and external parties such as government representatives, sponsors and other third-party vendors, ensuring that event requirements are met.
[What we are looking for]
You should have a recognised degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience organising events in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions) industry, with a passion for events and excellent communication and organisational skills. The role requires you to manage stakeholders and high-level delegates confidently, possess good negotiation and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to work within tight deadlines. Candidates who are digitally proficient and experienced in using technology and new media opportunities to design events and engagement initiatives will be preferred. We are looking for an individual who is independent, resourceful and a good team player.
