This role works closely with the rest of the Community Relations (CR) Team in the areas of donor and volunteer partnerships and communications.

Job Description

Partnerships:

· Collaborate with all internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., corporates, schools, community) to organise fundraising and partnerships projects.

· Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with corporations, non-profits, educational institutions, and community organisations.

· Maintain and strengthen existing partnerships through regular communication and collaboration.

· Collaborate with the CR team to identify and leverage partnership opportunities for funding and resource support.

· Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts.

· Prepare and deliver presentations on the work of Epworth to various audiences, including potential partners, volunteers and community groups.

Volunteer Management:

· Design, implement, and oversee volunteer programmes that align with the organisation's mission and address community needs.

· Recruit, train, and manage volunteers, ensuring they are effectively integrated into the organisation's activities.

· Maintain accurate records of partnership/volunteer information and programme activities.

· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership and volunteer programmes.

· Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.

· Develop volunteer retention strategies and recognise volunteer contributions through appreciation events and recognition programmes.

Be involved in projects as directed by Manager (Community Relations) and/or the Executive Director.

Requirements

· Bachelor in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

· Experience in community relations, partnership, or volunteer management is advantageous.

· Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and common digital communication tools.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

· Excellent attention to detail, organisation and project management skills.

· Team player, self-motivated, proactive, adaptable and positive work attitude.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day transactional buying activities to ensure goods and services meet its standard, quality and pricing while ensuring compliance to purchasing policy.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, expediting where necessary and performing goods receipt in the system.
• Receiving and processing purchase requisitions from various stakeholders through the Synergix purchasing module.
• Issuance of Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Order (PO)
• Prepare and issue Forwarding Advice, Proforma Invoices, Request for Payment (electronic form) and follow up on approval.
• Follow up and reply on problems of Good Receipts (GRs), Invoices, Discrepancy Reports
• Prepare Summary of PR/PO report.
• Any other duties, which may reasonably be requested from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bilingualism preferred (English and Chinese). Able to communicate in Mandarin and written in Chinese fluently in order to communicate with vendors from China.
• Preferably with sourcing experience in China
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with people at all levels and able to work independently.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office/ Excel; knowledge in PMS will be an added advantage.
• Experienced individuals may be considered for senior positions.

• Experience in website design and content development; experience in copywriting preferred
• Digital marketing/advertising expertise preferred
• Experience crafting spreadsheets and other data collection/presentation methods
