Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our “Strategic Initiatives” team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building the next-generation global payment network, contributing to Visa's transformation.

Primary Responsibilities:

System Design and Development:

• Design, document, and implement new systems, enhancements, and modifications to existing software, ensuring alignment with design specifications, security standards, and Java best practices.

• Develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant web-based applications.

Stakeholder Interaction:

• Engage with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services that meet business requirements using the latest tools and technologies.

• Present technical solutions, capabilities, and considerations in business terms.

Code Quality and Delivery:

• Deliver zero-defect code and ensure the team's deliverables meet or exceed business expectations.

• Contribute to and evolve a highly efficient development process pipeline by leveraging best-in-class CI/CD tools.

Innovation and Best Practices:

• Identify opportunities for product innovation and improvements to best practices, standards, and processes.

Mentorship and Collaboration:

• Mentor junior developers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality code.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Responsibilities

• To support Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) aftersales operation
• Manage daily operation activities in workshop & customer services
• Ensure accountability and integrity operational readiness of workshop
• Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the workshop is effectively maintained to ensure maximum efficiency
• Ensure staff are appropriately trained and motivated to carry out their responsibility to the required standards
• Deal openly and promptly with any problems and effectively identify and manage risk as appropriate
• Constantly review and streamline workflow and working conditions in order to achieve labour turnover and efficient operation
• To ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the safety and housekeeping requirements set by the company
• Provide the point of escalation for team for any operational issues
• Act as a bridge between sales, operations & customers
• Write technical report and submit to customer/manufacturer
• Preparation of reports on performance, budget and expenditure
• Plan and achieve financial budget and key performance indicators
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by Supervisors

Requirements

• Academic qualification: Diploma/Degree in Engineering (EEE) & equivalent.
• Prior working experience in managing daily workshop for at least 2 years is preferred.
• Possess strong analytical & technical knowledge (understanding in Material Handling Equipment (e.g. forklifts) repair).
• valid Class 3 Driving License.
