Job Description:

• Quantity take-off and cost estimation.
• Material ordering, budget tracking on quantity for main materials (eg: rebars, tiles etc).
• Measurement, payment response, VO for subcon.
• Preparing of tender submission within specific deadline.
• Source, negotiate and awarding of contracts to vendors.
• Tendering and contract documents administration, preparing BQ, cost estimation, control and budgeting.
• Monitoring actual construction cost vs contract work quality.
• Ensuring that cost is ideally managed within budget throughout the project.
• Advising the project team on contractual rights and arbitration procedures when dispute arises.
• Ensure meticulous assessment of costs / schedule of all projects activities.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 1-year of relevant working experience in the Construction industry.
• Good with figures and an eye for details.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledgeable about construction materials and procurement methods.
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
• Good knowledge in Building Construction Works, Singapore Contracts Law and regulations will be an added advantage.

We are construction metal / aluminum/ stainless steel / glass fabrication and installation works company .

We are now looking for candidates with at least 5 years experience in Contract Manager position with experience in Metal Works /structural steel / stainless steel and aluminums architectural works for Condos & HDB building project.

1)Construction related experience advantageous
2)At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3) Lead and drive the contract management work
4)To work closely with QS in supervising and managing QS performance
5)Prepare project costing
6)Review of quotation for before submission
7)Contract management : Draft, vet and scrutinize contract agreements
8)Review and compare awarded contracts for Variation Order and an omission order
9)To update and administer both pre- and post- contract administration work for Term contracts and minor improvement works.
