As a Piping Design Engineer (Drafting) specializing in piping projects, you will be responsible for designing, drafting, and optimizing piping systems within manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with project managers and engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that piping designs meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and project specifications. Your role will involve creating detailed drawings, including IFC shop drawings, conducting analysis, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality piping solutions.

Job responsibilities:

• Overall project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review all necessary documents required by the project e.g. building guideline, BOQ, method statement etc
• Study all project information and drawings to understand the design and detailing
• Develop the schedule for overall project execution planning
• Delegate work tasks and close monitoring of daily work activities, with schedule
• Work closely with Designer, Project Manager, Factory Manager and sub-contractor to ensure on-time delivery of project within budget and with good quality
• Site management - ensure proper command and control of site including but not limited to DB&B site SOP, cleanliness & workplace safety; project running at minimum resources, minimum wastage and maximum efficiency
• Conduct site surveys during various stages of the construction project e.g. Pre-con, site walk, handover, defect rectification, etc
• Provide assistance to fellow staffs, whenever necessary
• Produce and submit all necessary ISO forms, on time

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Interior Design/ Building/ Architecture or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related industry

• Updating the collection in the system and ensure the accounts are updated.

Accounts Payable Function

• Verifying the invoices, recording them to the system and filing.
• Preparing payment voucher & issuing payment and updating them in the system.
• Checking the reimbursement claims, recording in the system and preparing the payment.
• Checking the Sub-Contractors’ invoices and processing the payment.

(B) General :

• Preparing the reports required, liaising with internal / external auditors.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
