Responsible to source quotation for potential suppliers/vendors for Construction Materials, Machineries & Equipment’s.
• Compare & evaluate the quotation from suppliers/vendors and negotiate the contract terms of agreement & pricing with them.
• Place order and create purchase order after evaluation & signing of contracts/quotation.
• Verifies purchase requisitions from both office department & project team, clarifying unclear items, recommending alternatives.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Prepare reports on purchased items on monthly basis.
• Review the quality of purchased products by analysing the users’ feedback.
• Maintain good PO system and have periodic system update in terms of suppliers, prices, products etc.
• Ensure that the company’s policies and SOP’s are complied with at all times.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel on stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Assist in ISO audit documentation if necessary.
• To perform ad-hoc duties as per assigned

Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Business Admin / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working in purchasing / procurement in Construction Industry
• Applicants must be willing to work in Tuas
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation, and analytical ability
• Be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Salary will commensurate based on working experiences & skillsets.
