Hexacon Construction is seeking an accounts executive immediately.

What’s on offer

This is a permanent role based at Balestier Road.

· SGD 2,600 - $3,700 monthly, depending on experience and qualifications

· 5-day work week

· 14 days annual leave

· 3 months probation

Reporting to the Finance Controller and Senior Accountant, you are responsible for:

· Maintain accounting general ledgers within accounting software and on Excel

· Perform general ledger, bank, supplier statement reconciliation

· Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, quarterly GST Form 5

· Assist with auditor and tax agent queries, providing of relevant information

· Accurate data entry into claims submission, supplier and payment processing

· Other ad-hoc duties

The successful candidate should:

· Degree / diploma in accountancy

· Ideally, 1-3 years of accounting experience. However, fresh degree / diploma graduates are still welcome to apply

· Meticulous, with an eye for detail

· Spoken and written English proficiency

· Candidates with prior experience with IFCA accounting software will have a significant advantage, but not a must

· Live within the Balestier / Toa Payoh / Bishan area

· Coordinating, planning and conducting the project plan

Requirements:

· Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or its equivalent

· At least 3 years relevant working experience as Project Engineer in main contractor office

· Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Project Scheduling software

Job Description

• Prepare a lifting plans normal and critical lift plans
• Coordinate and Supervisor overall site lifting activities
• Conduct coordination and logistic meeting with subcontractors
• Visual Inspection of Cranes and lifting equipment’s
• Help site team in planning proper lifting equipment for required lifting works

Requirements

• 5 Years and more as Lifting supervisor/coordinator at construction site
• Lifting appointed person certified will be preferred
• Familiar with rigging techniques of construction material

Job Description:

• Managing the design and coordination of a team of M&E coordinators, Engineers, and BIM modellers.
• Liase with consultants on matters relating to all M&E works.
• Participate in technical meetings and site meetings.
• To assess and resolve any technical or site issues related to M&E drawings and M&E work with consultants and subcontractors
• On-site supervision of work progress
• Maintaining schedules and coordinating the work of subcontractors.
• Assist in finalising accounts of MYE Sub-contractors.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Construction related degree
• At least eight (8) years of relevant experience as M&E Manager in large scale projects is an advantage
• Highly motivated, independent, initiative and responsible.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
