The Construction Manager is responsible for leading the project team to complete projects on time, within budget and meeting quality parameters in line with the standards and expectations of the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

· Provide technical expertise as required on project;

· Line Management of employees and their productivity and performance;

· Provide guidance to team in project works in terms of quality and safety standards;

· Monitor and ensure that site progress is in accordance to the master program with no delay in works and proper work sequencing;

· Efficient management of resources and materials.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University

· Experience: 10 – 12 years’ experience in delivering large to mid-scale projects in infrastructure and building

· Must be trained in hazard identification and risk assessment methodology

Technical Competencies:

· Technical expertise and knowledge in Structural, Architectural Design and Contracts Administration with established experience and proven ability to deliver projects

· Proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects from start to hand-over

· Microsoft Office skills and in particular, use of Microsoft Project

Job Description:

• Ability to read, analyze, understand, and interpret design and construction documents and drawings(Archi, C&S and MEP).
• Utilize BIM to increase the team’s understanding of problems and solutions, and assist the construction and field team in solving issues throughout the project.
• BIM coordination and preparation of shop drawings, crash reports and quantity take off.
• Perform routine assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of BIM software(mostly is Revit and Navisworks) standards, practices and techniques.
• Develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity, and learns how to use all software options.
• Create necessary parameterized family and maintain project files.
• Assist management with additional assignments as directed.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in the following design software: AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Computer skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore

• Min 4 years relevant experience (building construction projects)

• Use of Autocad and MS office would be an advantage
