Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Project and Construction Manager to lead and manage construction projects related to our pharmaceutical facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry-specific regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for pharmaceutical facility construction projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to pharmaceutical industry regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA guidelines, and other relevant standards.
- Contract Management: Manage contracts, including bidding processes, negotiations, and contractor selection. Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control and quality assurance measures to maintain high construction standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize disruptions.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between internal teams, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders. Implement cost-saving strategies where appropriate.
- Safety: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols and procedures to protect the health and well-being of all personnel involved in the construction project.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including construction plans, change orders, permits, and regulatory filings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- 10 + years of experience in project and construction management, with a strong background in pharmaceutical or biotechnology facility construction.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and quality standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
