About the Role

We are seeking a Delay Associate to join our Construction Disputes & Advisory practice in Singapore. You will support and work alongside some of the most highly regarded delay experts in analysing and providing solutions on complex issues arising out of construction disputes in domestic and international arbitrations and litigations, as well as on live projects.

You will have opportunities to work on projects across a wide range of industry sectors globally, including oil and gas, building, process plants, power generation, civil infrastructure, and marine projects.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Assist in detailed forensic analyses of project data and schedules to determine causes and extent of project delays and productivity lossAssist in writing and preparation of expert reports in domestic and international arbitrations and litigations, explaining delay analyses performed and results of the analyses
• Work with a team to provide advice and strategic solutions to clients on complex challenges faced on construction projects, and assist in preparation of reports for extension of time, loss and expense, disruption and prolongation claims.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

• A good bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or science from a recognised university
• Outstanding and effective writing skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, reasoning and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to plan and manage own work tasks to meet strict deadlines
• Background in construction or shipbuilding industry is preferred, but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply

• Products / Systems Manage product life cycles including new products and accessory configuration updates.
• Create and maintain solution and product catalogue to support commercialization. Actively support new project proposals when new offers are needed for pre-sale and bidding requirements.

• Establish proactive Relationship with Influential Project Consultants and design houses for Technical Spec-in. Track such leads as a KPI to drive for pipelines with business leaders.

Commercial / Cross functional Co-responsibilities

• Define choices of products / solutions for commercial team to choose from to meet market demand.
• Define product plan for each year by working with cross functional team.
• Collect customer demands with and through commercial team to solution specifications to enable new product development. Provide timely technical Supports to commercial team to remove product barriers.
• Implement strategic pricing practices while collaborating with Sales and management to strive for balanced decision.
• Carry out Regular On-site Examinations for Key Projects to validate new product functionality and existing product and system function issues (feedback from team) and provide improvements.

About you:
