Job Description

To assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in the daily execution of work.

To supervise the work of sub-contractors and in-house workers.

To work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule.

Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings.

To monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by workers.

Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship.

Attend the daily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly.

Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work.

Requirements

At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Experiences in Structural Steel, Formwork（HDB, MRT PROJECT) will be advantageous.

Possessed of SCWSH (BCSS) is mandatory.

Highly proactive attitude, self-motivated, team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills.

1. Prepare detailed estimates of material costs for various projects.

2. Develop estimates for general expenses and overheads.

3. Advise on tendering procedures, prepare and submit competitive bids.

4. Analyse incoming tenders and evaluate contractor proposals.

5. Regular review of project financials.

6. Monitor contract expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.

7. Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.

2. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

3. Knowledge in steel business.

4. Efficient and with good analytical skills.

5. Able to work independently.

• Manage and organize the office's filing systems, both electronic and physical.
• Handle daily administrative tasks including answering calls, and managing email correspondence.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers
• Prepare invoices, Sales Order & Purchase Order
• Data entry and verify delivery related documents
• Follow up with outstanding payment
• Other adhoc duties as assigned
• Provide support for HR matters and other Administrative Works Task

Responsibilities:

• Assist for the day-to-day planning, organising, implementation and reviewing policies for both routine and cyclical maintenance, and use of common properties, etc.

• Assist to review and prepare specifications and contract documents to tender.

• Provide feedback and suggest alterations to revamp work methods and contract specifications in order to enhance the operation.

• Carry out feasibility study and implement approved project to enhance the Estate.

• Evaluation requests from residents, council members and sub-committees.

• Maintain close liaison with council members and residents for feedback from work in progress, estate cleanliness and other maintenance mag. Ensure that cleaning, security, landscaping and pest control contractors and all terms contractor carry out their contractual duties during the month.

• Monitor major works in progress and monitor trend of expenditures and maintain budgetary control.

• Assist in preparation of monthly Councils Meetings and Annual General Meeting.

• Supervise on Maintenance Supervisor and technicians.

• Enforce office discipline and ensure building statutory requirements are complied

• Handle any ad-hoc task assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE 'O' lever or degree/diploma in Building, Facilities Management or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. (Entry level are welcome to apply)

• Knowledge of BMSMA Act will be an added advantage.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in computer skills such as MS Office.

• Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with landlords, tenants, and stakeholders at all levels.

• Possess a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a customer-centric approach.
