Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee high-pressure construction projects, ensuring top-quality standards and strict adherence to deadlines.
2. Adapt to various working environments, including sun exposure and potentially hazardous conditions.
3. Willing to be hands-on, comfortable with physical tasks and getting your hands dirty.
4. Flexibility to work both day and night shifts as needed.
5. Availability to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
6. Verify accuracy of plans, drawings, and quantities.
7. Ensure all materials used and work performed comply with specifications.
8. Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
9. Manage daily site operations, including supervising and monitoring the labour force.
10. Plan and efficiently organize plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
11. Oversee quality control, health, and safety matters on-site.
12. Prepare budgets, variation orders (VOs) and other reports, and present detailed reports with prompt solutions to critical issues.
13. Exhibit flexibility by working extended hours, weekends, and frequently traveling between sites as needed.
14. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in construction, with at least 8 years in a high-pressure leadership role.
2. Possess a Engineering Degree related to construction or electrical engineering.
3. Possess a Basic Concept in Construction Productivity Enhancement (BCCPE) Certificate to get eligibility for company approved Technical Person.
4. Strong knowledge of Electrical Works and Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems.
5. Hold BCSS (Building Construction Safety Supervisor) License and Work at Height certification.
6. Proficiency in AutoCAD with certificate is essential.
7. In-depth knowledge of construction equipment, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
8. Proven ability to remain composed and effective under pressure, with strong leadership qualities.
9. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills for managing teams effectively.
10. Expertise in Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, and ACMV works, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
11. Physical stamina to perform demanding on-site duties.
12. Must be able to travel to sites using public transport if company transport is not provided.
13. Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse environmental conditions.
