QA Lead Responsibility

• Provide functional workflows, test data, and support to black box, automation, VA and PT.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca.
• Expertise in writing test scenarios and test cases.
• Effectively collaborate, communicate and build rapport with team members, project stakeholders, business partners, and vendors
• Support UAT, including obtaining official sign-off approval on releases ready for UAT and production
• Champion agility and improvement in the test process
• Facilitate complex group meetings and conduct information-gathering sessions with groups across IT offshore teams
• Own QA automation frameworks.
• Test new developments on all platforms.
• Work closely with the CX & UX team to make sure the code meets defined product requirements
• Leading a team of testers and be responsible for the quality of their work
• Creating test plans and strategies
• Identifying and documenting defects
• Tracking Quality Assurance metrics (e.g. defect density, open defect count)
• Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives
• Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior QA engineers.

QA Lead Requirements & Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Center)
