Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

· Perform dimensional control inspection of module structure, piping, Tie in point coordinates, equipment, Flange face out using total stations and BEST FIT software

· Advise construction team on construction sequence, installation, and appropriate rectifications based on Dimensional tolerance

· Coordinate with Client inspectors for dimensional control inspections as per Inspection and test plan

· Generate dimensional control reports and get it approved from clients

· Ensure periodic calibration of survey equipment

· Coordinate day to day DC activities and report the progress of DC taken and the Report submission.

· Coordinate all the calibration works as and when required for the DC equipment’s

· To report Progress and maintaining of all the DC equipment’s

Requirements

· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Experience in using BEST FIT software

· 3 years’ experience in marine shipyard

· 5.5 days’ work day

· Local/Singaporean

· Fit to climb up and down the modules

What will you do?

• Lead team of Software Quality Engineers
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans and test reports to ensure they are up to date with project and security requirements
• Conduct testing on new features and file defects
• Perform various tests such as manual, functional, performance, exploratory tests, UAT
• Assist in resolving issues during testing and production stages
• Coordinate with in-house development team, vendors, and users to conduct tests such as User Acceptance test, systems integration tests and performance tests.
• Drive adoption of relevant, up-to-date technologies, practices and tools in Agile software projects
• Contribute in technical discussions and solutioning sessions
• Maintain the Quality Standards of the software at every stage.
• Execute both manual and automated test scripts

What are we looking for?

• Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or infocomm-related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software quality testing
• Proficient in testing techniques, test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery
• At least 3 years of experience in leading a team
• Experience with open source automated testing frameworks (preferably Cypress) and open source performance testing tools (e.g. k6) is preferred
• Experience in Agile development teams, employing relevant methodologies and practices such as Scrum
• Keen to share knowledge with team mates and mentor fellow developers
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
