We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting process, including but not limited to:

Financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and budgeting.

The accountant will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilitis:

• Handle full set of accounts include preparing audit schedules and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.

Account Collector Role

An Account Collector recovers overdue payments on accounts. Account Collectors track debtors down by phone, digitally, or mail and assist them to make payments by negotiating repayment plans and encouraging them to find alternative payment solutions. Also known as a Collections Agent or Collections Specialist.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Account Collector to recover late payments on our accounts. The Account Collector will review clients’ accounts in our database, and interview them to establish their financial resources. Based on this the Account Collector will establish their ability to pay debts. You will ask clients probing questions over the phone to better understand payment objections and use your ability to multitask by typing notes simultaneously.

Key tasks and responsibilities

· Responsible for all onshore and offshore construction activities relative to the part (or full) of the FPSO construction, defined based on discipline (e.g. Structure / Piping / EIT) or area (e.g. specific module(s) / Engine Room / LQ / Turret)

· Ensure that all construction related tasks are undertaken to the required standard and performed in a safe, productive manner (compliance with all statutory or legislative requirements related to OH&S, environment, etc.)

· Coordination of onshore and offshore sub-contractors, incorporating HSSEQ requirements into the construction planning and execution

· Interface with Engineering, Supply Chain and Project HSEQ to ensure timely deliverables to support the Construction Schedule, and assist in reviews of design specifications, shop drawings and contractual requirements

· Preparation of progress reports and reports related to safety and environmental hazards, near misses and accidents

· Ensure innovation and continuous improvement for the project works, through the development of information, practices and procedures

· Assist as required, in arranging for work permits, JSA’s, safety tests and actions with regard to safety

• Identify, assess, closely monitor and proactively manage emerging risks for IBGO, with a focus on key risk areas that impact IBGO such as Audit & Unit Self-identified issues, UDMA, MJE reductions and GLAO certification in forums.
• Perform Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Testing on the PURE framework.
• Support the team’s deep dive and uplift of RCSA and risk control metrices.
• Monitoring and preparation of forum materials for IBGO management, review and report risk metrices. Ensure data accuracy, completeness and IBGO actions are addressed in a timely manner.
• Represent IBGO at risk forums and explain risk initiatives to stakeholders.
• Perform review of risk landscapes, identify control lapses, perform root cause analysis, highlight adverse trends for action and standardize best control practices across locations.
• Provide risk & control advisory to line managers/ location risk managers on control lapses and deep dive into root cause analysis, highlight adverse trends for action and standardize best control practices across locations.
• Manage regional risk & control projects for IBGO globally.
• Participate actively in the IBGO Risk Forum to effectively communicate key risk initiatives and control topics to location IBGO heads and risk managers.
• Perform regulatory submission reviews and assessments, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Raise staff awareness on risk & control, and trainings provided where required.
• Leverage on data analytics to drive new risk management framework.
• Further support wider Reg IBGO COO team on other projects (i.e. NCA governance etc)

Requirements:

• University degree with minimum 5 – 10 years of experience working in financial institutions in a risk/ control capacity.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
• Able to deal with and navigate ambiguous situations.
• Hands on experience and good appreciation of operational risk management.
• Adequate understanding of regulatory environment in banking.
