• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project and provide timely updates

Roles & Responsibilities

1. To carry out all responsibilities of a Site Supervisor in a Construction site.

2. Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections with sub-contractors.

3. To oversee daily operation at site. Direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors ensuring appliance of common operational procedures.

4. Ensure material requisitions are issued in adequate time to achieve the Construction Programme.

5. Schedule, control and monitor all sites and materials on a weekly basis. Ensure all work is completed to programme.

6. To ensure that workers comply with all safety measures required. Require to carry out the effective implementation of work safety programme.

7. Report and assist Project Director and relevant Personnel. Fulfil the role of Temporary Works Co-Ordinator when required.

8. Liaise with sub-contractors Manager/Project Manager, Site Manager/Agent, and Contract Surveyor regarding cost control, waste management, variations and confirmation of instructions.

9. Create and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and neighbours as well as any other stakeholders.

10. Responsible for the upkeep of documentation on project matters Assist to ferry workers to respective sites.

Job Description

Job Requirement

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Construction Manager in condominium /mixed development projects ;
• Degree in Engineering or Construction related degree

Planning Manager (Construction)

Job Responsibilities:

• Report to Project Director (PD) on project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, risk control management etc. to meet the project(s) goals
• Responsible for construction planning, scheduling, baseline programme and tracking of projects progress, as well as co-ordination with consultants, contractor & supplier
• Monitor project development schedule and report site progress according to submitted baseline programme
• Assist PD in collations of project progress reports e.g. Monthly Report, VO Management, EOT Assessment, Project Progress Updates, etc
• To coordinate and liaise with Client’s representatives, relevant Authorities, Consultant, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with Contractual requirements and target completion date is met
• To assist Contracts Department on the preparation of tender including drawings, method statements, proposals, programme, and preparation of claims, etc
• Liaise with Client’s Representatives, Consultants and/or Contractors engaged on the
  project and attend regular meetings so as to ensure the progress is on schedule
• Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and to ensure Environmental,
  Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all time and identify high risks safety hazard activities before construction and approval of Method Statements
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your
  superior/management deem fit

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
• At least 5 years of working experience in the Construction Industry
