Our client is a leading logistics Industry operating is ASIA. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Logistics Coordinator (Inventory Control) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the overall movement of warehouse inventory (in and out).
• Manage inventory records for all accounts.
• Record/update stock movements into the system.
• Conduct ad hoc cycle counts for various accounts.
• Provide regular updates on stock counts weekly and monthly.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist in the preparation and loading of import/export delivery/stock transfer shipments.
• Work with customers and warehouse teamon inventory-related matters.
• Prepare pick lists and coordinate with the 3rd party (warehouse, vendors, and customers) to facilitate smooth and accurate disposal processes.
• Any ad-hoc job as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min "N" Levels certification or other relevant equivalent field of study.
• Min 2 years relevant experience.

• Adhere to all company guidelines.
• Manage Town Councils projects, experienced in R&R/NRP/A&A projects preferred.
• Plan and prepare the project master schedule, identify critical activities that will require an early start & develop the budget for every project activities.
• Meet regularly to with Management, Client and relevant parties to discuss the status of the current project.
• Control the worksite effectively in achieving good safety and housekeeping standards.
• Prepare, review and enforce the risk assessment plan with the assistance of the WSH Coordinator.

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building / Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or any other discipline related to building construction.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing Town Council’s R&R/NRP projects in a similar capacity in lieu of the educational qualification stipulated above.
• Attended CSCPM
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Good communication skills (verbal and written) and can communicate effectively in English.
• Strong in Persuasion, Service oriented, Client relationship and People Management.
• Good working attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• PC literate and knowledge in MS Office, able to prepare project reports and presentation as required by Clients.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in any field is preferred;
• Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or relevant safety certificate.
• At least 2 years of work experience relevant to the work to be carried out by a WSH Coordinator in a petro-chemical plant environment; and
• Possess knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act.
