Job Description

• Position Title: QAQC Engineer
• Working Location: Islandwide (HQ at Ubi)
• Working Hours: 6 Days (Alternate Saturday), Mon-Sat (8 am-6 pm, Flexible Schedule)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Perform checks on the structural, architectural and M&E materials/works to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspections.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance with BCA’s Good Industry Practice).
• Monitor the performance of subcontractor workers for all trades and ensure any defects are properly rectified.
• Involved in preparing relevant QA/QC reports.
• Involved in implementing QA/QC plans and ensuring PPVC quality before delivery.
• Ensure the functionality of the product before handing it over to buyers.
• Assist in preparing for QM submissions.
• Assist in yearly ISO audits.
• Assess, feedback on the construction process and procedures.
• Execute quality control as per site-specific materials and Works Quality Plan.
• Conduct relevant training for sub-con and internal staff.
• Issuance and handling of Site Memo.
• Monitor undertaken corrective and preventive actions against non-conformities.
• Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments.
• Recommends solutions for critical and/or frequent recurring defects to Project Team.
• Ensure all the method statements used have obtained approval from the clients and consultants.
• Follow up on all the required tests as per contract requirements.
• Attend regular site meetings – QAQC, Landscape Coordination Meeting and Client Meeting.
• Attend off-site inspection – Precast and Structural Steel Works (Malaysia and Singapore Factory).
• Follow the developer’s Quality Inspectors (QI) and Customer Service Officers (CSO) for inspection prior to building handover to owners.
• Attend to client’s defects during Defect Liability Period.
• Assisting in handover of the common areas to management team.

• Min Diploma or Degree related to QA/QC or Engineering / Construction related field
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in the construction industry (HDB, Condominium projects etc.).
• Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance is necessary.

Senior Control Engineer (PLC & HMI)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead project to ensure design meet project specifications.

- Generate process flow chart and software specifications.

- PLC and HMI program development, modularization, and standardization.

- PLC and HMI setup and programming.

- Conduct factory acceptance test and site acceptance test.

- Conduct internal and end-user operation and maintenance training.

- Update design progress to department head.

- Create internal written knowledge transfer material.

- Create operation manual for machines designed.

- Ensure given tasks complete within given timeline.

- Provide technical support and solutions to sales inquiry.

- Generate proposal, costing and tender documents for sales inquiry.

- Liaise with suppliers on components selection and quotation.

- Liaise with customers on control design and process flow.

- Troubleshoot electrical design and software issues.

- Perform system maintenance and support for system in production.

- Train, supervise and guide Control Engineer.

Requirements:

- Minimum Diploma in Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or equivalent.

- Minimum 3 years of automation system PLC and HMI programming experience.

- Proficient in Omron Sysmac Studio and Microsoft Office.

- Proficient in PLC programming language: Functional Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Text (ST) and Ladder Diagram (LD).

- Experience in using communication protocols such as OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, RFID interface, Profibus, Device Net.

- Proven ability to complete tasks given independently.

- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skill.

- Capable to perform under tight schedule to meet project timeline.

- Industrial robot programming experience will be added advantage.

DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity for you to be an integral part of the Quality Management department to optimise patient care and outcome by way of driving quality assurance programmes, initiatives, policies and procedures. The role requires you to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders of the organisation including the senior management, head of department, clinical staff, patients and regulators, among others.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Quality Management

1.1. Support the planning, implementation and administration of clinical quality management programmes.

1.2. Assist to develop, review and revise policies and other supporting documents related to quality management

1.3. Collaborate with respective departments on quality indicators and other related clinical quality activities.

1.4. Administrative oversight and review of incident reports.

2. Infection Prevention and Control (IPC)

2.1. Collaborate with respective departments on IPC indicators and other related activities to ensure compliance to prevailing internal and regulatory requirements.

3. Medical Affairs

3.1. Support the accreditation and credentialing of relevant healthcare practitioners with the hospital to ensure the regulations are in place

3.2. Support the facilitation of periodic meetings for the Medical Advisory Board and its Committees including secretariat support to meetings and committees.

4. Others

4.1. Support the department in any other duties relating to hospital licensing, accreditation and audits matters.

4.2. Undertake any special projects or initiatives as assigned by the supervisor and/or senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• A Nursing or Healthcare related Degree will be highly preferred. Candidates with any other general degree with healthcare related experience may apply.
• Minimum 1-3 years working experience in healthcare organisation or hospital setting.
• Some knowledge or experience in quality management standards and practices.
• Good speaking and writing skills
• Well-versed in computer skills including Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel spreadsheets, formula, charts, pivot data for data analysis.)
• Self-disciplined, motivated, self-starter, Meticulous
• Effective communication skills and able to interact with all levels of staff.
