Safety Physician/Scientist, Global Medical Safety Singapore

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?
You will be responsible for the safety surveillance of one or more products and the job comprises of diverse scientific and operational tasks. At Lundbeck, you will have the chance to be involved in safety surveillance activities for post marketed products. Key responsibilities include medical review and assessment of Individual Case Safety Reports, safety evidence generation and risk minimisation, interpretation of safety data analyses, benefit-risk assessments, and providing medical-scientific input to regulatory documents and writing safety reports (e.g., PSURs, input to RMP, signal reports) with appropriate guidance.
You will represent Global Patient Safety as a member of the Safety Committee chaired by our Safety Lead colleagues. Thus, you will be performing independently with some guidance on functional tasks as well as in collaboration with various stakeholders and team members.

Your future team
Global Medical Safety consists of more than 30 Safety Scientists/Physicians and Safety Leads and the department has the global responsibility for the safety surveillance of all Lundbeck’s products in clinical development as well as marketed products. The department spreads across the US, Singapore and Denmark and you would join the colleagues in Singapore who are responsible for Lundbeck’s Established products. The team is characterised by a highly dedicated, professional, and international environment where teamwork and collaboration are highly valued.
Global Medical Safety is part of Global Patient Safety which consists of more than 90 dedicated colleagues who strive to successfully deliver comprehensive safety knowledge in a dynamic global team atmosphere.
What you bring to the team
We are actively looking for a temporary employee (contract role) to join our team. Our preferred candidates have the following qualifications:
- A university qualification in medical science or dentistry (e.g. MD, M.B.B.S, BDS)
- Good knowledge of diseases, their clinical manifestations, co-morbidities and treatments
- Team player and good collaboration and communication skills
- Strong project management skills
