Job Summary:

Successful candidate will carry out service and maintenance works for security systems at clients’ premises, including but not limited to Integrated Security Management Systems, Card Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems and CCTV systems.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of service and maintenance workflow.
• Liaise closely with client representatives on all service/maintenance related issues.
• Assisting the supervisor in employing teams on service deliveries and distribute responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day client interactions and expectations for optimal results.
• Provide support to supervisor in ensuring the timely delivery and completion of troubleshoot and service/maintenance of security systems at clients’ premises.
• Familiarise yourself and deliver customer satisfaction base on each client's business, organization and objectives.
• Ensure that works carried out are in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
• Perform any other technical tasks as and when required.

Requirements:

• Min Nitec in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least 2 years working experience.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in security systems such as Integrated Security Management Systems, Card Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems and CCTV systems is a must.
• Knowledge in IT/Network/Server is an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Independent, self-motivated individual whom is able to work under minimum supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

• To supervise and manage the functions of Repacking/Containment/ICW operations and Maintenance
• To monitor the safe process flow and backlog level of TIW waste
• Ensure all staff are well trained according to OJT programme and following the safe work procedures and SOPs
• To ensure the effectiveness and smoothness of coordination with operation and sales team and customer service maintaining high quality of services
• To monitor the outgoing containment purchase budget and encourage the recycling of used containment to save cost
• Daily and regular inspection of the operation processes and monitor the plant 5S and TPM activities, safety and discipline at works, machineries and equipment conditions
• Lead the daily safety toolbox meeting and regular inspection of PPE items that staffs at workplaces are enough for their safety
• Conduct periodic review of existing procedures and workflow of plant operations and functions in lines with cost effectiveness with maximum throughput
• Apply continues improvement or modification plans to maintain an excellent operational model.
• Work with Lab chemists to evaluate and develop new treatment methods and handing procedures for new and unknown wastes, and review of operation costs and regular update to management
• To ensure EHS compliance through the continual maintenance and improvement of ISO 45001 implementation, and always maintain good housekeeping of site
• To prepare and analyze daily and monthly operation records/reports (e.g., cost, productivity, quality, non-conformance, etc) on plant processing and maintenance. And follow up necessary corrective actions and monitor consistently to relevant department staffs to follow up closely
• To compile annual budget of plant operations and Maintenance for Director’s approval and to ensure expenditures are well within the budget allotment
• To work closely with operation staffs and engineering staffs to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedule for operations and maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Regular briefing / training to be conducted to department staffs for safety handling of repacking loose waste, MSDS, PPE requirement and risk assessment before operations
• To activate emergency response team of operation and maintenance staffs and response to any in house spill and fire incident if in case of emergency
• To liaise with EHS department to ensure fellow dept staffs are upkeep with method of handling and emergency equipment usages in terms of spills and fire incident and to conduct regular practice and drill exercises with different scenarios to workers so that they are well familiar in emergency to response in time

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• At least 2 year relevant experience

Summary

This position is accountable for preparing the detailed Construction plans in accordance with the JGCAP’s company policies as the key person under the direction by JGCAP’s Site In-charge/ Project Manager and coordinating all construction activities on site among all JGCAP’s disciplines including subcontractors using his technical experiences and construction know-how and ensuring the completion of the work on schedule.

The detail plans as described above are as follows:

• Temporary facilities plan (If require) and subcontracting Plan.
• Manpower mobilization plan.
• Construction equipment mobilization plan.
• Work closely with the project scheduler on construction schedule and progress reporting.
• Constructability studies and plans, coordinate with Project Engineers and other related discipline as and when necessary.
• Scaffolding plan.
• Reflect the constructability plans in the inquiry for subcontracting.
• Preparation of documents such as specifications, procedures, manuals and etc.
• Erection plan of extra heavy equipment, inclusive of haulage plan.
• HSSE work control plan including rules and promotion plan together with JGCAP’s Site HSSE personnel.
• Coordinate with Project team of vendor specialists for work which need vendor specialist support.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Initiate the subcontractors sourcing, inquiry package issuing, work scope clarification, sub-contractors evaluation & selection, cost negotiation and PO issuance.
• Work scope clarification & confirmation, BQ verification and construction direct & indirect cost estimation.
• Initiate Project’s Kick off meeting with the selected subcontractor and coordinating with selected subcontractors to ensure they are in line with company or project strategies and planning. Discussing and clarifying the detail of scope of work, execution plan, commercial issue and technical issue to minimize potential future conflict.
• Carry out constructability studies, construction activities planning and execution plan for the job.
• Coordinating with all engineering disciplines to ensure design, cost and client’s requirement can be achieved.
• Handling of issued drawings or field change sheet to ensure latest drawings to be applied.
• Work closely with the team member and subcontractor to prepare all the MSRA required for the project.
• Working closely with scheduler, subcontractors and clients to plan ahead and schedule critical work paths in order to avoid delays or obstructions on mechanical completion.
• Day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the work progress, site labour force and any work of subcontractors.
• Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Maintain knowledge on all contract terms and legal requirements for project to avoid any delay in projects.
• Identify and resolve all technical issues in Construction process.
• Liaising with clients and company project team, including attending regular meeting and submitting reports to keep them informed of progress and construction issues.
• Liaising with any vendors, consultant, supervisors, subcontractors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Assist the JGCAP’s Site In-charge/ Project Manager to monitor and manage the overall construction cost, including subcontractors’ progress billing, construction expenses and cost of variation order.
• Prepare and submit the weekly and monthly progress/construction reports to management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience preferably from an international organization with a fast-paced work environment. Candidates with experience in Construction industry would be viewed favourably.
• Possess solid hands-on experience in preparing financial/management reports with multiple functional currency and significant intercompany transactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office especially in Microsoft Excel
