Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices
• Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture.
• Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment
• Conduct internal audits for ISO, EMS, OHSAS and Health& Safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance
• Investigate industrial accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities
• You are required to report work-related accident to MOM and HR, follow up with MOM if there’s any investigation required or any further action
• Follow up medical report form to the hospital or clinic and completed medical report sent to MOM
• Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes
• Coordinate employee safety programs to determine their adequacy including review of short- and long-term strategic safety planning and development
• Take part and lead in the Risk Assessment development
• Order and maintain facility safety inventory including supplies and equipment
• Work within company policy as outlined in HR Policy Manual and OSHA Safety rules and regulations where applicable
• Coordinate and conduct management review for all the three compliance standards at predetermine frequency
• Focus on continual improvements to enhance further compliance standards performance

· Attend site visit and prepare cost estimation.

· Co-ordinating and follow up all the individual respective project team like Civil, E&I, Scaffolding, Automation, Passivation, Safety, Lifting and others.

· As a Controls Engineer you should perform a vital role in designing and developing systems for manufacturing operations.

· Draft tender documents and cost estimation spreadsheet.

· Design layouts, materials and information flow, or machine placement.

· You should responsible to evaluating performance and proposing and implementing improvements new or existing systems.

· Present final figures and unit rates to management.

· Prepare Method of Statement (MOS), Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Project Schedule and other working procedures.

· Ensure the installation / erection works meets the specification and requirements.

· Liaise with QA/QC personnel and ensure all the works comply with the requirements.

· To carry out inspecting and rectifying any unsafe practices and unsafe place of work.

· You will oversee the safety and job/ project operation.

· Prepare weekly / monthly progress reports/ safety reports/ manpower reports etc.

· You are to direct, guide and manage all tasks under your charge and ensure it is carried out in the most creative, efficient and professional manner to the best of your ability.

Responsible for oversees and coordinates construction projects, planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of the construction process, from project initiation to completion. To work closely with project stakeholders, such as clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet the desired objectives.
