• Receive, sort, and assess specimens for testing; manage data entry and rejection of unsuitable specimens.
• Participate in quality assurance and control programs.
• Provide training to new staff and students.
• Assist in process improvements and support operational matters.

Qualifications:

• Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields (e.g., Laboratory Medicine, Biomedical Sciences).
• Candidates with a Diploma in related areas may qualify for a Junior Medical Laboratory Technologist role.
• No prior experience needed, but a strong interest in diagnostic laboratories is preferred.

Requirement:

• Able to work 3-rotating-shift work patterns, including staggered and extended working hours, and coverage after hours and on weekends and public holidays to meet the needs of the department and hospital
