You will be responsible to support the smooth operations and administration of CareHub. Reporting to the Head, Insight and System, RHS Office (RHSO), the appointment holder will help to manage and support the development of digital engagement plans and projects with HealthierSG (HSG) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and learning management system. Overview and purpose of the position

Work closely with service leads and business stakeholders to identify roadmap of information technology (IT) solutions and enhancements. The individual will be responsible in one of the specialties: technical support to Radiography Information System (RIS) or Laboratory Information system (EPIC Beaker) in meeting business requirements. Staff with a keen aptitude in healthcare IT will be considered and appropriate training will be provided.

Main responsibilities:

• Work closely with Reporting Officer in the approval, acquisition and implementation of IT projects.
• Resolve project issues, working with vendors and key stakeholders as required, to ensure the successful implementation of IT projects
• Oversee the planning, directing, supervising, monitoring and coordinating of vendor and department operations, including assigning work activities, projects, evaluate work processes and procedures, preparing correspondences e.g. general and special reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize, design, develop and implement IT application features and enhancements, ensuring that system capabilities and process requirements are aligned
• Ensure that the business-as-usual and in-scope IT systems are performing optimally, meeting SLAs and requirements of user stakeholders

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

• Bachelor’s Degree or diploma certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other related technical disciplines.
• Degree or diploma holders of Radiography or Medical Laboratory Science with keen interest in IT are welcomed to apply
• Literacy in some Information technology disciplines such as fluency in Python and a systems language (Java, Scala, C++) and experience with Oracle database will be advantageous

Requirements

Patient Service Associates (PSA) provide frontline counter services to patients. PSA is to assist patients by checking patient’s service/order requirement, managing patient queues, handle basic enquiries (e.g. appointment booking) and to provide administrative support to medical technologists and radiographers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reception of all appointment and walk-in patients at the Diagnostics counters
• Ensure 2 patients’ identifiers (NRIC & Name) are verified for all patients when handling patient registration electronically (i.e. EPIC, LIS, RIS, POS, BSS.) and verifying tests ordered by doctors.
• Accurate appointment scheduling / booking and registration for eligible mammogram patients via Breast Screen Singapore (BSS) portal
• Registration of mammogram patients are done accurately via BSS portal, including updating of patient particulars such as mailing address and contact number.
• Relevant instructions are communicated effectively to patients prior to their procedures/tests, chaperon patients to changing or counselling room where applicable.
• Handle enquiries and provide prompt and courteous service delivery to internal and external customers.
• Responsible for payment collection when assigned to cashier duties and ensure tally of end-of day sales with cash settlement and other transaction records.
• Ensure Medisave Authorization Forms (MAF) are filled in accurately with patients’ endorsement and approval, and all Medisave transactions are captured accurately in EASIPOS
• Accurate application of promotions and discount vouchers appropriately and to validate its utilization via EASIPOS
• Support administrative function to centre in-charge including but not limited to dispatching of lab and x-ray reports, proper record and documentation of courier services.

Reporting to Centre-IC, Medical Technologist (MT) is responsible for the daily operations and administration of laboratory to ensure compliance to regulations and accreditation standards. This includes daily routine laboratory work, performing phlebotomy, electrocardiogram and spirometry. MT is responsible to maintain professional care to patients and works closely with NUP and other stakeholders.

Job scope

• Perform patient registration, specimen reception, preparation and packing of specimens
• Perform laboratory analysis (e.g. Urine microscopy, full blood count, HbA1c), operate and maintain instruments according to work instruction.
• Perform point-of-care testing, phlebotomy, ECG and spirometry procedures.
• Responsible to verify and report accurate results in timely fashion; investigates and reports any anomalies.
• Responsible to perform daily quality control check and troubleshoot as required.
• Ensure proper documentations and records for traceability (e.g. acknowledgement on QC and maintenance checklist after completion).
• Assist to resolve patient’s queries and escalate to centre-IC when necessary.

Qualification

Degree in Medical Laboratory/Biomedical Science or related fields.

Prior experience working at clinical laboratory at public or private healthcare establishment is advantageous but training will be provided

Experience in phlebotomy and heel prick sample collection will be advantageous but training will be provided

Effective communications and ability to converse in vernacular languages is an asset

Radiographer is responsible for the providing prompt diagnostic imaging services to the patient, ensuring patient safety and proper care of equipment. Assist Centre In-charge/ Senior or Principal Radiographer to guide and supervise junior and student radiographers when required.

• Perform general radiographic examinations and/or at least one of the area of specialty including mammography and/or ultrasound and/or Bone Mineral Densitometry.
• Responsible for the safety and welfare of the patient.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; adhere to safe work practices especially in radiation safety and infection control.
• Ensure proper usage and care for all equipment at the specific diagnostic centre.
• Perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc quality departmental projects/activities as assigned by the reporting officer/ Lead Radiographer
• Apply the ALARA principle for all procedures.
• Responsible for general housekeeping of the allocated diagnostic centre.
• Render prompt and courteous service delivery to external and internal customers.
• Ensure efficient running and operations of their area of responsibility.
• Assist the Radiographer-In-Charge / Senior or Principal Radiographer to ensure quality control procedures are performed diligently.
• Ensure AHPC certification is achieved after one / two years depending on qualification(s).
