• Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry or other Life Science.
• Minimum 6 years of laboratory experience plus 4 years supervisory or management experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Prior supervisor experience managing several direct reports preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume working environment.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of CAP, ISO15189 accreditation and HCSA regulations.
• Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
• Proven ability to problem solving/troubleshooting and provide solutions under minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• High level of attention to detail with strong organization skills.
• Comfortable making decisions in a changing environment.
