• Responsible for full set of accounting functions and activities which include preparation of Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance, subsidiary ledger reports
• Lead, train and supervise a team of accounts assistants and/or finance executives
• Perform monthly closing reports, variance analysis and management reporting
• Perform forex accounting and reporting
• Perform quarterly and yearly tax submissions including GST and estimated tax computations
• Manage tax, audit, corporate secretarial or external regulatory matters and liaise with external parties as required
• Ensure compliance of financial authority limits, financial reporting standards (FRS), company policies and other regulations
• Initiate process or policy improvements where needed
• Manage intercompany transactions and ensure intercompany balances tally across the books
• Take on lead roles in ad-hoc projects and activities assigned

Requirements:

• Accounting degree or professional degree
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role of Senior Finance Executive
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
• Agility to change, mature, independent, hands-on, able to work under stress and have a strong sense of responsibility
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
