1. Project Planning - involved in project planning, including assessing project requirements, estimating material and labor costs, and creating work schedules.
2. Team Management - oversee the tiling team, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and to the required standard.
3. Quality Control - It's the supervisor's responsibility to ensure that all tiling work meets quality standards and adheres to specifications outlined in the project plans and building codes.
4. Safety Compliance: Supervisors are responsible for enforcing safety regulations and ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
5. Material Procurement: Supervisors may be involved in ordering materials, coordinating deliveries, and managing inventory to ensure that the project proceeds smoothly without delays due to material shortages.
6. Problem Solving: Supervisors must be adept at troubleshooting and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the course of the project, whether related to materials, personnel, or logistics.
7. Client Communication: Supervisors often serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on the project's progress, addressing any concerns or questions, and ensuring client satisfaction.
8. Documentation: Keeping accurate records of work progress, material usage, and any changes to the project scope is essential. Supervisors may be responsible for maintaining project documentation for future reference or audits.
9. Training and Development: Supervisors may be involved in training new team members, providing guidance on tiling techniques, safety procedures, and best practices to ensure that the team performs at its best.
10. Budget Management: Supervisors may be responsible for managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project stays within budgetary constraints.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a teacher/supervisor at Perpetual Hope International Academy, you will take on, among other duties, the following:

• Plan, prepare, and teach classes under Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum
• Provide high-quality, interactive, and engaging supervision
• Adopt positive guidance techniques and strategies at all times
• Communicate with parents and provide constructive feedback in line with the programs’ requirements
• Attend in-house training sessions provided for curriculum-related matters and professional development
• Support curriculum work, research, talks, and workshops as required during non-teaching hours (full-time teachers only)

Job Requirements

While always a bonus, you do not need to have any experience in teaching as long as you are willing to learn and passionate to serve. We would like you to have the following:

• A good Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required
• A good learning and working attitude
• A good team player with excellent command of spoken and written English
• A positive and pleasant personality
• Singaporeans / PR only
• Enjoy working with students from ages 7 to 12 years old.
