• Develop and implement training programs for all food and beverage staff to enhance their skills and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, conducting regular stock takes, and minimizing waste to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to develop menus, considering customer preferences, seasonal availability of ingredients, and current culinary trends.

Objectives of this role

1. Oversee project budgeting and cost control and manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
2. Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
3. Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns and foster strong working relationships.
4. Managing procurement processes, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations and vendor selection.
5. Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.
6. Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.

Required skills and qualifications

1. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of relevant experience in construction project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
3. Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organising and prioritising tasks.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools and cost estimation software.

Site Engineer

Working Days: 5 Days A Week (Monday – Friday),

Working Hour: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday may need work half day if work required (can claim OT)

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant site / building construction experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend to project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• To verify the work done on site are in accordance with the approved drawings / specifications / authority’s requirement and ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP to minimise delay to the construction progress.
• To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
• Assist site management team in project Planning & coordination.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
  Arrange and prepare documents for authorities’ submission for Conquers, RI, TOP etc.
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Understanding of critical project criteria related to schedule & productivity.
• Able to provide guidance to new staff / junior staff.
