Laundry and Drycleaning Operations Supervisor (Day/Night)

Join our team as a Laundry & Drycleaning Operations Supervisor and play a key role in overseeing our operations in Singapore. Reporting to the Operations Manager (Singapore), you will ensure smooth daily operations with a focus on dry cleaning, laundry processing, garment finishing, ironing, and packing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Management: Lead and manage laundry operation teams, including itemizing, packing, washing/finishing, and ironing.
2. Performance Targets: Set and monitor daily and weekly KPIs and operational targets to maintain efficiency.
3. Garment Oversight: Supervise garment itemizing, quality assessments, and finishing processes.
4. Reporting: Provide daily updates to the Laundry Manager regarding production metrics and quality standards.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, dry-cleaning machines, garment finishers, and ironing tools.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure the safe operation of all machinery, adhering to workplace safety protocols.
7. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage assigned inventories and supplies to ensure availability and cost control.
8. Operational Support: Provide additional support to factory operations or other duties as required.

Requirements

• Education/Experience:
  • Diploma or equivalent experience in laundry operations (specialization in garment care and cleaning is preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
  • Hands-on knowledge in the maintenance of laundry machines and equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions in Singapore, including recruitment and internships, onboarding and offboarding, learning and development, payroll, employee relations, and performance management, ensuring compliance with Singapore labor laws and other applicable regulations.
• Assist the Group HR Manager in developing HR policies and ensure their compliance within the Singapore office.
