About the Position

• To plan ahead of schedule so that site problems can be resolved before they have impact of cost, overall schedule and quality.

• Day-to-day management of site, including supervising and monitoring the site labourforce and the work of any subcontractors.

Job Description

1. Expertly welds small, medium, and large bore pipe of various metals and alloys.
2. Solders and brazes of copper pipe.
3. Performs complex mechanical installations per engineering direction.
4. Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specifications.
5. Responsible for performing fusion welding operations on High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes and fittings.
6. Welding damaged and broken pipes

Requirement

1. Proven work experience as Pipe welder, HDPE Welder, Pipe Fitter or similar role in the Pipe Jacking Construction Company.

2. Knowledge of welding equipment and techniques

3. Understanding of the health and safety protocol

4. Having a keen eye for details

5. Familiarity with welding and hand tools such as chipping hammer, torch, grinders and buffers

6. Able to work independently

Job Description

• Manage and track all activities from a hotline and ticketing system
• Handle faults and incidents reported by clients, vendors, and stakeholders; and ensure all issues are resolved
• Monitor data center infrastructure and support systems, reporting and escalating issues as required.
• Perform data centre operations support (e.g. on-site support, power cycling, inspections, troubleshooting, installations, etc.)
• Carry out inter/intra cabling works, onboarding, server installations, network equipment set up, parts upgrading, etc.
• Ensure that all works carried out adheres to SOPs that have been set out
• Asset and inventory management
• Provide reports and updates to stakeholders
• Any other ad hoc duties as required

Requirement

• At least a diploma from an engineering field
• 1 -2 years of experience in the data center industry
• Able to work in shifts (including graveyard shifts) and be on 24/7 standby
• Familiar with Network, System and Building Monitoring Systems alert
• Experience with operations support (e.g. hot swop, inter-rack cabling, power cycling, tape management, etc.) would be an added advantage
• Good oral and written communication skills

a) Report to the Manager/Team leader as shown in the organization chart. Responsible for the coordination and control of technical matters, quality implementation and site supervision works.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:

i) Coordinate with all the parties including sub-contractors and consultants to solve and coordinate technical issues, production of drawings and ensure proper transmission of data to all parties involved. Ensure that the detailed schedules of drawing production and site progress are met.

iii) Supervise site works according to the quality and EHS requirements.

iv) Handle all inspections and handing over process with the final objective of achieving customer satisfaction and high Conquas/QM score.

Job Description

a) Report to the Project Manager. Responsible for the EHS systems and implementations.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:

i) Assist and advise the Project Manager on EHS planning for overall project scope and detailed activities.

ii) Study and fully understand the requirements of company ISO, EHS and sub-contracts agreements.

iii) Liaise, handle and keep proper records in dealing with all related authorities in complying with their respective requirements.

iv) Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with EHS requirements. He is authorized to take necessary actions including issuance of partial stop work order as he and the Project Manager deem fit.

v) Handle all accident and incident reports.

vi) Work as a team with project team members and sub-contractors to provide a safe working environment.

vii) Prevention of fines, imposition of demerit points and SWO from the authorities or owners like MOM, NEA and HDB is a key role which is also a key performance measurement of WSHO cum ECO.

viii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.
