RESPONSIBILITIES

As a community-based social service centre that provides support for low-income, vulnerable individuals and families, you will be part of the FSC team in Toa Payoh to provide case management support, and also partner with other agencies, stakeholders to coordinate holistic support for clients to help them achieve stability and self-reliance.

• Collaborate with authorities, subcontractors, and clients on drawings and materials.
• Review and align fire protection design drawings for compliance.
• Identify discrepancies between mechanical and electrical (M&E), structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions.
• Manage and execute projects according to schedules.
• Attend meetings with contractors, address issues, and update progress.
• Study drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Assign tasks to supervisors, ensuring standards and SOPs are met.
• Plan and lead testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Follow up on site and authority inspections and rectify defects in fire protection works.
• Plan and prepare Operation and Maintenance Manuals (OMM), training materials, and As-Builts for handover.
• Coordinate maintenance of fire protection systems during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

Job Responsibilities:

• Pre-plan and prepare construction schedule, and coordinate activities.
• Follow up and report On-site and Off-site project management and progress.
• To prepare and submit progress reports as required by consultants and clients.
• Arrange Site daily activities & daily Toolbox Meeting Site Supervisor.
• Analyse project specifications, including civil/structural, architectural, and M&E drawings.
• Coordinate, prepare and arrange site inspection with RE & RTO.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring adherence to standard rules and regulations.
• To prepare and keep records, maintain Project documents control for ISO purpose and summary related to project.
• Prepare necessary submission for project.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by management/superior.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Relevant project experiences in infrastructural or marine construction (e.g. dredging, reclamation or near shore construction) will be a plus.
• Training will be provided for those without/with lesser experience.
• Daily sea travel to island work site is mandatory.
