• Undertake duties as Track Handback Engineer wherever required or instructed by Company.
• To comply with all relevant Legislation, Contractual Standards and all procedures and instruction contained within the Management System applicable to your role.
• To refuse to work whenever you feel that a safe system of work or working practice is inadequate to protect the Rail Infrastructure, the Travelling Public and yourself or you fellow workers. You must try to manage out risk primarily and report any refusal to work to your immediate Supervisor/Manager or escalate if necessary.
• Experience of practical railway engineering including standards, design, construction, maintenance and development
• Personal Track Safety Certificate or similar
• Recognised Handback Engineer Certificate from UK or similar
• Proven technical, engineering and managerial experience and be conversant with all relevant rules, regulations, codes of practise and Company Standards
• Working knowledge and understanding of competence requirements for technical engineering railway safety critical works and works under possessions
• other departments to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives

Job Description:

o Safely transporting company staff to and from dormitory as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.

o Assisting with the loading and offloading of materials at factory and site.

o Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction daily.

o Promptly informing the company of any traffic offence tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.

o Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.

o Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.

o Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.

o Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management of the company.

o Perform duties such as collection of cheques from client office and depositing to the bank.

o Assist in ad-hoc duties instructed by Supervisor / Management.

Driver Requirements:

o Valid driver’s license

o Minimum 2 years of driving experience.

o Clean driving record (e.g., no demerit points, no outstanding traffic offences)

o Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.

o Familiar with local roads and routes is a plus.

o Ability to utilize Google Maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.

o Effective communication skills with workers

o Punctual and reliable

o Able to work independently

o Will have to work on Saturday and Sunday if required

Roles and Responsiblities

1. Site project management.

2. Overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet project completion targets.

3. Daily site activities planning, preparing work breakdown, daily site operations, site coordination, monitoring and report work progress.

4. Work closely with sub-contractors on project progress and ensure timely work arrangements

5. Liaise with consultant and carry out site inspection.

6. Attend weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors on work progression and prepare monthly meeting progress report.

7. Preparation of structural analysis, loading calculation and drawings.

8. Establish good relationship with all relevant parties.

9. Ensure site safety & compliance to authorities’ requirements.

10. To take on PE Assignee supervision role.

Requirement

1. Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant Engineering

2. Min. 3 years’ experiences.

3. RE registration with IES

4. Experience in Infra-structure project more than 200million.
