We are looking for an Operations Manager (Sales and Procurement) who will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational capabilities. This individual will be responsible for overseeing sales strategies and procurement processes to drive efficiency and support our growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for sustainability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage sales and procurement efforts of the organization
• Manage sales team to identify and pursue and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Liaison works and negotations with stakeholders such as factories, suppliers, foreign buyers etc.
  Assist with general invoicing and quotation works
• Assist with management of team of workers in efforts to do waste collection, distribution, allocation, shipping and managing factory equipment
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency across sales and procurement functions
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize resource allocation and reduce operational costs
• Ensure all operations adhere to relevant environmental regulations and industry standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, with a focus on sales and procurement within the waste management or recycling industry
• Possess knowledge, experience or existing network to export processed waste materials
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and sustainability practices in waste management

He / She shall be responsible for project and advice delivery, research, strategy, and analysis for smart cities, infrastructure, and digital/technology transformation in focus regions in the Middle East, South East Asia, and South Asia. Additionally, He/She shall assist the team internally on matters of technology product management, operations/marketing optimisation, and strategy. He / She is responsible for:

• Assisting in the hitting of annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts (in line with the Regional Director’s targets and assignments)
• Building, managing and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer and partners relationships, as well as expanding the customer base in the Middle East, South East Asia, and South Asia
• Ensuring successful delivering of digital transformation projects within time and budget, including suitable technology implementations for the client by partnering with the various solution providers in the market and solution architecting to respond to RFI / RFP
• Analysis and production of insights, reports, and other materials for client or internal use pertaining to economic, financial, policy, or other multidisciplinary aspects of smart city/built environment; this will include both quantitative (data science, statistical) and qualitative analysis, as well as research and production of collateral/materials to report findings
• Assisting in product management and solution architecture for Meinhardt technology platforms under development

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overall manage phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards with government regulations.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.

Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct regular site visits and meetings to assess project status and facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders.

Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks and resolve conflicts.

Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Mentor and support project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

REQUIREMENTS

Preferably Degree in Engineering from a reputed institution.

Able to travel islandwide and hold Class 3 Driving License.

Should have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a reputed Companies.
