Job Description

As a senior customer success manager your role is to offer excellent partnership experience to Wise Platform enterprise level clients. You will be an operational owner of the portfolio of partners like Nubank, N26, Google Pay, etc.

During your day-to-day you're expected to analyze the quality of partnerships from an operational standpoint, identify opportunities to automate and scale operational processes for our partners and for the internal teams who service our enterprise clients as well as deal with partner demands towards Wise operational processes.

This is how you will maximize the value partners receive from using Wise solution by reducing operational friction and defect.

You will be working closely with the Account Management team and Wise operational teams, which are global. You will also work with other functions, including product management, tech, legal, compliance, implementation and business development.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Own and nurture operational relationships with partners and unblock the growth opportunities. This means being partners’ point of operational contact (escalations, operational friction patterns), managing stakeholders and conducting business review meetings, providing solutions to partners looking to improve the operational state and supporting them through the execution. Unblocking operational obstacles to growth.
• Own operational success plans with partners to maximize the value partners get from Wise. This means analyzing the operational performance and being the driver of strategic operational improvements projects with partners and keeping our partners as well as internal teams accountable to follow the timelines on the plan.
• Scale internal operations. This means looking into the data (on partner-level, regional and global), working closely with servicing teams to understand what are the key friction points caused by platform partnerships and how we can eliminate/ reduce these gaps by negotiating changes with partners, product, engineers and other stakeholders on a regional or global level. Take the lead on driving the cross-team projects implementing these changes.
• Agree with partners on implementing the endpoints & webhooks. This means exploring what endpoints & webhooks exist and can be helpful and what should be created to help automate internal & partner’s support operational teams by sending the data via API to our partner. Negotiate such changes with a partner, as they need to do tech work on their end as well.
• Analyze the quality of support we provide to our partners and their customers. This means understanding how well our responses solve the cases raised, what we can do to improve the resolution rate and reduce the amount of contacts by working with the internal teams for your partner and for the whole region in particular. Collecting feedback from assigned partnerships to identify key improvement areas.

• You have at least 3-5 years of working in the banking or fintech industry space
• You have proven track of record completing the projects with measurable results, scaling internal costs and improving the processes (ready to share about at least 3 projects lead and delivered)
• You are data-driven, able to collect and analyze data to prioritize the big wins for our partnerships and for scaling internal teams

What the role is

The High Performance Manager (HPM) has a critical leadership role within Fencing Singapore (FS), responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive high-performance plan to achieve national and international success in fencing.

This role involves overseeing all aspects of athlete development, including talent identification, coaching, training programmes, sports science and medicine integration, and competition strategies.

The HPM will work closely with athletes, coaches, support staff, and key stakeholders to create a world-class fencing programme.

Reporting to the FS High Performance Director (HPD), the HPM will work closely with the FS High Performance Executive, FS Account Executive, FS National Coaches (FS NCs), FS National Partner Coaches (FS NPCs), Singapore Sports Institute (SSI), National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI) and any official or Senior Management that FS may assign.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities:

1. National Team Management

a. Assist HPD in the development and implementation of a framework for long term (4+ years) high performance fencing plan, endorsed by the Joint Management Committee (JMC), that articulates athlete development through the National Team’s structure for Senior, Junior and Cadet fencers across all three weapon groups.

b. Together with FS NC’s for given weapon and FS NPC’s, provide leadership and mentorship to build the team culture and unity, communicate, coordinate and manage the Annual Plan and high-performance programmes that support selected national athletes (e.g. National Training Centre, spexScholarship Programme, National Team programme or Campaign Support Program).

c. Work closely with FS High Performance Executive to develop performance analysis and training/competition load monitoring platforms.

d. Provide regular reports to HPD and FS NC’s, about the progression level of selected national athletes and National Team Squads.

2. Governance

a. Develop, maintain, propose and track changes in high performance-related policies, including National Team policy, National Training Centre policy, ranking policy, ranking system and selection policy.

b. Manage any appeal or request regarding high performance programmes and National Team.

c. Perform financial and administrative duties necessary for the role, ensuring prudent management of resources and adherence to organizational policies.

3. Competition Management

a. Plan and manage National Team participation in international competitions, including Olympic Games, F.I.E. sanctioned events and other major events.

b. Develop a support framework to support athletes and coaches during competitions.

c. Oversee logistics and travel arrangements and ensure athlete well-being during competitions.

d. Prepare post-event reports and reviews.

4. Sports Science and Medicine Integration

a. Develop fencing-specific high-performance platforms to support the National Team Annual Plan and to enable efficient co-ordination with SSI & NYSI Sport Science and Medicine Teams.

b. Collaborate with sports scientists, physiotherapists, and other specialists to optimise athlete performance and health.

c. Implement injury prevention strategies and ensure athletes have access to appropriate medical care.

d. Keep up to date with the latest fencing advancements, sports science, and technology.

5. Stakeholder Management

a. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including athletes, coaches, parents, sponsors, government agencies, and the international fencing community in relation to progress in the high performance domain.

b. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on the high-performance programme.

c. Secure funding and resources to support the programme.

6. Supervision

a. Mentor and supervise the HPE.

b. Provide direct report (i.e. HPE) with formal and informal evaluation and feedback regarding performance and expectations.[An1]

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Conference and Business Solutions industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, event organizers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or surpass revenue targets.
• Promote a comprehensive range of event-related services, including venue rental, catering, and technological solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments to uncover new opportunities.

Event Coordination Support:
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Assist clients in planning and managing their events, from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to guarantee efficient delivery of event components.

Client Relationship Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.
• Conduct site visits, deliver presentations, and pitch proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in compliance with company policies.
• Offer tailored and effective solutions aligned with clients' event goals.

Reporting & Analysis:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts using the CRM system.
• Deliver regular reports to senior management on sales performance, trends, and growth opportunities.
• Analyze competitor actions and market conditions to provide strategic business development recommendations.

Requirements:
• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Brings along at least 3-5 years of sales experience in the Events, Conference or hospitality industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experienced in planning resources effectively and meet tight deadlines
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Provide support in system management and Ops & Support activities required to maintain the systems’ Service Level Agreement (SLA) such as:

• Security Monitoring/Tracking

• SPF Division/Units Sites Support

• Software and Vulnerability Patching

• Review and Implementation of Change Requests

• Support Procurement Activities

• Obsolescence Management

• Audit

• Monthly review of accounts and server log activities

• Submission of security clearance for vendors

• Scheduled and ad hoc system maintenance.

• Technology Refresh and Migrations

• Provide after office hours support for deployments
