Reporting to the VP of Tax, this role will be responsible for working with other Tax team members in driving our business partnering capabilities to proactively support Traveloka’s business expansion efforts, ensuring seamless alignment of tax strategies with overarching business objectives.

The Senior Manager will serve as strategic advisor to business teams, collaborating closely with business teams to understand their business goals, operations, and challenges on a proactive basis. Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or relevant related discipline
• 10+ years of tax experience working in large multinational corporations and either legal or public accounting firms
• Experience in international indirect taxes is a must, with ability to navigate direct tax and transfer pricing issues in partnership with support from internal and external advisors
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex tax issues effectively to non-tax audiences

• Work with portfolio manager and traders for the assigned fund to improve knowledge of financial products and trading strategies.
• New business onboarding such as fund documentation review, drafting of operating memorandum & pricing policy, trade interface development and systems setup
• Provide adequate coaching and guidance to team members. Keep abreast of all alternative investment industry developments and drive any procedural or technology enhancements accordingly
• Assist Managers on projects such as process improvement, query follow up and issue resolution
• Work with team members in Operations, Investor Services function as necessary.

Requirement

• University degree in finance/accounting or commensurate experience
• 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in the financial industry
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong dispute resolution and effective problem-solving skills
• Proven teamwork skills: able to recognize where you can help the team complete all daily and monthly tasks.
• Demonstrated customer service and continuous improvement focus
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Experience in audit and financial statements preparation desired
• Audit/Control Minded
• Ability to work in changing, fast-paced work environment
• Experience with hedge fund and private equity accounting preferred
• Experience with Advent Geneva preferred
