Work with a leading luxury hotel located in the heartland of Singapore. Currently we are looking for an Event Operations Manager to join the team.

Salary range : S$4,000 to $5,000
Job Summary
The Event Operations Manager will oversee event activities, delivering excellent product and service quality levels while maximizing profits; forecasting and budgeting; and selecting, training, and developing employees.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
· Maximise revenue and profit for the hotel at every opportunity, using creative selling and service/product enhancement techniques whenever appropriate for all groups or guest in-house.
· To perform rooms and events sales duties in supporting the responsibilities of the Assistant Operations Manager by implementing the strategies and action plans to achieve the set goals.
· Oversee the entire Food and Beverage Operations, ensuring all food and beverage concepts are up to standards and guests preferences;
· Be the business leader for the events, actively working with Director of Sales and marketing to drive Sales, Marketing, Pricing and service delivery.
· Responsible for operating day to day whilst working on a pre-agreed short and long-term business objectives of the property.
· Develop and implement standard operating procedures, steps of services and other policies and procedures for the event operations.
· Responsible for hiring, training, development and building bench strength to provide continuity in such high level service delivery.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and serving in all outlets.
· Maintain food and equipment inventories, keeping inventory records, submit purchase orders, and cost control responsibilities
· Maintain an attractive beverage program with an appropriate beverage cost in line with the budget
· Check VIP arrival rooms and make sure all requests are attended to.
· Ability to perform other tasks and/or projects as assigned by Management.
· Ensure full knowledge of all hotel systems in order to maintain full maximization of systems use.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Point of Sales System
· Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
· Service oriented with professional presentations skills
· Experience in implementing new Food and Beverage concept
