• Practical experience in managing projects involving the full software or product development life cycle is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of data analytics and source code is a plus.

What you’ll do

The Senior Manager, New Market Development will play a pivotal role in driving our strategic direction and growth and will be involved in M&As for expanding our business into new regions, international expansion, building financial partnerships strategies and executing GTM strategies.

You Will:

• Analyze where to deploy resources and develop partnerships, investments, and/or acquisition strategies to drive long term strategic value
• Execute M&A transactions that will have a material impact on the business by providing access to regulatory licenses in new geographies
• Identifying acquisition targets, manage negotiations, deal structuring, financial analysis, due diligence process and execution of acquisition deals, ensuring alignment with Airwallex’s strategic goals and regulatory needs
• Work closely with licensing and legal teams to navigate the regulatory landscape to secure necessary approvals, and understand what’s required in targeted new geographies

What You Will Bring

• 6+ years of experience, preferably in top-tier investment banking, private equity, corporate development in technology companies or equivalent

Job Descriptions:

• Participate in IT outsourcing risk management, lead IT outsourcing risk assessment, participate in due diligence and annual inspections of IT outsourcing vendors, participate in verification of the implementation of IT risk management and control measures of outsourcing vendors, and other IT outsourcing management work.

• Participate in the construction and organization promotion of IT risk quantification indicator system and other management tools , improve the use of IT risk monitoring platforms, cooperate with the second and third line of defense departments to carry out risk and internal control management work ; organize risk assessment matrix, RACA , KRI , LDC and other assessment work.
• Organize and complete the data collection, review and submission of the IT risk quantitative indicator system of the head office.
• Develop branch-level IT risk safety training plans and organize their implementation.
• Participate in completing other tasks assigned by superiors and the head office.

Job Requirements:

• Able to communication effectively both written and spoken in English & Chinese with internal/external stakeholders and HQ.

This role will be crucial in executing growth strategies by identifying and engaging new partners and structuring multi-year development agreements.
