We are looking for an experienced General Manager (GM) with a passion for nurturing every child to become an everyday hero who drives positive change for himself/herself, others and the world, who also cares about animal welfare, wildlife conservation, and sustainability.

As GM, you will be responsible for setting the overarching vision, strategy and execution pathway whilst being an excellent operator themselves, executing “Jobs To Be Done” at speed. In this role, you will be responsible for :

Strategy & Execution

· Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategies to achieve business objectives and growth targets, from launch to scale.

You should have:

· $5M+ P&L ownership experience as CEO or leader of a product-led business;

· Related experience in sectors like EdTech, Gaming, Conservation, Sustainability, Tourism;

· Experience building B2CB or B2B2C products and businesses;

· In-depth understanding of the local market in Singapore and Southeast Asia;

What the Role is

• Evaluate and appoint external Arts Infrastructure Masterplan Consultant

• Oversee and Work Collaboratively with Consultant to Develop the Arts Infrastructure Masterplan

• Work closely with real estate developers on arts-related concepts and developments

What you will be working on

(A) Arts Infra Masterplan

1. Planning

a. Work with senior management to form an internal working committee made up internal stakeholders, as well as an external Steering Committee.

2. Award and execution of the project

a. Finalise the tender documents, manage the tender process, evaluation and award of tender.

b. Oversee and work collaboratively with the appointed Consultant to develop the Arts Infrastructure Masterplan.

c. Facilitate regular engagement of project team with:

• NAC management and teams (and resources);

• Representatives from other government agencies; and

• External parties which could include identified artists and art groups, developers etc.

(B) Guide real estate developers on arts-related concepts and developments

• Guide real estate developers to integrate arts-related concepts into upcoming developments, to make Singapore a distinctive city filled with vibrant spaces for and inspired by the arts and unlock spaces to support arts creation, presentation and connection with audiences.

What we are looking for

1. At least 8-10 years’ experience in business development, infrastructure development.

2. Relevant experience in public sector, with familiarity in government procurement tender processes on GeBiz and high level of attention to detail for contract management is preferred.

3. Familiarity with government policy planning is preferred.

4. Strategic planner with strong organizing and planning skills, able to develop roadmaps, and provide critical guidance to consultants, informed by data and research.

5. Strong communicator and relationship builder, both with internal and external stakeholders to build partnerships.

[What you will be working on]
