  • Interpretation of lab results and imaging modalities (X-rays, Ultrasound, etc.).
  • Exposure to inpatient care and outpatient clinics.
  • Working with multidisciplinary, cross-departmental teams.
• Responsibilities:
  • Admission and management of patients.
  • Daily rounds with other department veterinarians, interns, residents and specialists.
  • Discharge planning and follow-ups.

3. Neurology (8 Weeks)

• Core Skills:
  • Perform comprehensive neurological examination.
  • Assessment and management of neurological cases.
  • Interpretation of suitable diagnostic tests (e.g. basic MRI interpretation, CT, X-Rays).
  • Assisting in spinal and brain surgeries.
  • Providing client communication on diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Responsibilities:
  • Manage neurology cases under supervision.
  • Manage neurological emergencies.
  • Participate and assist in neurological surgeries.

4. Surgery (8 Weeks)

  • Pre-operative and post-operative care.

  • Assisting in both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries.
  • Management of surgical emergencies.
• Responsibilities:
  • Admission and management of patients.
  • Attend surgical rounds.
  • Attend daily hospital rounds with other department veterinarians, interns, residents and specialists.
  • Discharge planning and follow-ups.
  • Post-op inpatient care.

5. Exotics Companion Animal (8 Weeks)

• Core Skills:
  • In-depth history taking, physical examination, diagnosis and work-ups.
  • Management & treatment of both acute and chronic medical conditions in exotic species.
  • Interpretation of lab results and imaging modalities (X-rays, Ultrasound, etc.).
  • Gain hands-on experience with assisting and performing surgical procedures.
  • Provide inpatient care to exotic patients.
  • Handle and stabilize emergency exotic patients.
• Responsibilities:
  • Manage exotic clinical cases under supervision.
  • Manage exotic emergencies.
  • Participate and assist in surgeries.
  • Provide In-patient hospital care

6. Elective Rotation (8 Weeks)

We are looking for an RFP Specialist (12-months contract) to join the Global RFP & DDQ Services team based in Singapore or Hong Kong. The RFP Specialist is an individual contributor role, with responsibility for completing and/or coordinating RFPs and other new business-related questionnaires at varying levels of complexity. The role is highly interactive and requires close teamwork with internal clients (Sales, Client Services and Consultant Relations) and other business partners globally in order to meet critical timelines and provide accurate and timely information to potential clients. The role is instrumental in developing and enhancing client and consultant relationships, through generating quality responses that positively impact next stage and win rates.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

Response content development and delivery:

• Undertake an initial review of all documents relating to assigned requests, identifies relevant requirements, and establishes where to access the required information
• Discuss client requirements with business partners to identify responses that meet these requirements
• Independently prepare first drafts of responses for review
• Prioritize own workload to adhere to the project timeline, highlighting any challenges or resource constraints in advance

Review and approval:

• Review own work to ensure consistency with best practice guidelines and that draft responses meet external client requirements and accurately position the organization
• Ensure all appropriate approval/review steps have been completed and documented for each submission with inputs from RFP team seniors, product management team and the distribution team

Building relationships:

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and business partners
• Develop understanding of external clients and their requirements, our investment products, and distribution and product management priorities
• Use relationships and understanding to develop responses to new business/external client retention requests

Database content management:

• Support the update of existing content, distinguishing between opportunity-specific customization and generic content
• Utilize the feedback function to share details of updates
• May actively propose/use automation tools, including supporting content refreshes and quality checks involving strategic vendors

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

• University degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
• CFA or other professional financial qualification or equivalent knowledge would be advantageous
• At least 1-year working experience in the financial services industry preferably in asset management
• Demonstrated asset management RFP experience, preferably in a global environment. Additional general financial services or asset management experience is highly desirable.
• Understanding of institutional and retail asset management, plus good knowledge of financial markets globally
• Broad product knowledge, across equity, fixed income, multi-asset and alternatives (or experience/education to develop this knowledge quickly)
• Good verbal and written communication skills, plus strong proofreading skills
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels of seniority and across multiple cultures
• Flexible and adaptable, ability to adjust to changes in workflow and succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Meticulous attention to detail, across all aspects of data, language and grammar, and general layout and presentation

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist HOU in overseeing all functions in CADD, its respective supporting guidelines as well as all controls are in place (or to be placed) to ensure adherence to the existing Bank’s standards.
• Assist HOU in the periodic or ad hoc review of the unit’s procedures, SLAs, KPIs, etc.
• Assist HOU in the management of CADD’s outsourced tasks.
• Assist HOU in carrying out initiatives to drive quality and efficiency in the CADD functions (e.g., improve the quality of the CDDs processed by the teams, improve the cycle time by automating certain tasks, etc.).
• Act as the key person and lead the Risk and Control framework of the CADD unit (for both Retail and Non-Retail)

  • Monitor completion of all regulatory and audit action items (from Regulators, internal and external Audits)
  • Assist in completing CADD’s RCSA, RICA, and all relevant requirements
  • Oversee CADD’s adherence to the Group’s risk and control requirements as stated in Group’s documents, e.g., Group Operational Event and Loss Data Management Procedure, Risk and Control Self-Assessment Procedures, and other related/superseding documents
• Support the improvement of the CADD’s overall risk awareness.
