Experience

• 6+ years’ experience in FP&A and/or Business Operations and/or Finance Business Partner

We invite highly motivated and outstanding professionals with the relevant experience to join our growing Finance team as a Manager.

Together with a core team of Finance professionals, you will:

• Prepare and review monthly tax schedules and tax returns in accordance with local and international tax laws and regulations
• Participate in the budgeting process, including settling timelines, guidelines and coordinating with business units and functions
• Analyse and review the budget results, identifying variances and provide support to business partners when required
• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the budget and tax reporting data, and maintain proper documentation and records
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the budgeting and tax reporting function
• Work closely with external stakeholders such as bankers and corporate secretary to ensure compliance with statutory and compliance filings requirements
• Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned

We are looking for dynamic individuals with:

• A Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in corporate tax or financial budgeting, preferably in the financial services industry
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Powerpoint, and other financial software applications
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• A passion for challenges and displays resourcefulness as a self-starter

Havas Singapore is looking for a Finance Executive / Senior Finance Executive.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial and management accounts reporting
• Perform month-end closing activities including management reports, group reporting packages and audit schedules
• Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliation and prepares monthly journals
• Responsible for intercompany reconciliation and reporting
• Manage cash management functions including cash flow report and preparation of the daily cash report
• Provide cost variance analysis and preparing budgets
• Assist in system migration, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and within scope
• Work closely with internal teams and service provider to manage data transfer and system implementation and ensure that the process run smoothly
• Review financial data on the accounting system to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Responsible for the maintenance of master files in financial system
• Ensure compliance to financial regulations and guidelines
• Provide support in annual audit process
• Support in ad-hoc projects and other initiatives as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
• External audit experience preferred
• Bachelor of Accountancy Degree or equivalent
• Good knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards
• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS office applications
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Well-organised with excellent time management skills
• Good team player and able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Committed, highly self-motivated individual who can work independently
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Analytical and possess good problem-solving skills
