Our client is a Japanese bank specializing in financial services, with a strong focus on ship financing and general corporate banking. They are currently seeking an Officer - Corporate Banking Department (Contract) for a role of up to 12 months.

Reporting to: Head of Corporate Banking

【Responsibilities】
Corporate Banking duties include but are not limited to:

• Loan covenants monitoring: Contacting customers to submit the documents and input the monitoring results to the branch system;
• Submission of Head Office required documents: Contacting customers to submit the loan-related documents and pass the documents to Head Office via the branch system;
• Vessel insurance management: Contacting customers to submit insurance-related documents and pass the documents to relevant departments.;
• Loan-related information inputting: inputting various figures and information obtained from customers and RMs into the branch system;
• Filing of Credit file;
• Housekeeping of documents;
• Supporting RMs in various ways;
• Conducting any projects as assigned by the Head of departments from time to time.

【Requirements】

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a bank.
• Experience in corporate banking and/or corporate credit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Overview

The candidate must be an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual with real passion for new age digital transformation profession who would work closely with our Division Manager and (internal / external) stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of services.

To be successful in this role, one should possess the quality of a PMO professional who will have a proven track record in planning, coordination, and management of large-scale banking projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. You would also work closely with the client’s internal/external stakeholders to track and implement solutions that relates to quality or process improvements.

Candidate is also responsible to ensure that the daily activities are in compliance with Company’s Credo and business policies. He/she reports to the Team Leader and carry out leading functions of the department.

Key Area of Responsibilities (KAR):

• Project scheduling and resource planning, considering dependencies.
• Management of project issues and document creation for management reporting.
• Setting evaluation criteria (e.g., Critical Points) and coordinating with related departments (e.g., IT, Compliance).
• Responding to regulatory requirements and supporting administrative tasks.
• Regularly reporting on progress, challenges, and solutions to leadership.
• Project scheduling and resource planning for projects overall considering dependency of each of them
• Responsible for Corporate Lending PMO for PM Support
• Support provision for Corporate Lending business area PM’s project leading & managing activities..
• Develop standardized rules and processes of project management, such as constructing reporting structures, determine reporting contents, etc.
• Cost and Resource Coordination across business area, working closely with Cross Functional PMO and Corporate Lending Business Area PM.
• Progress and issue management of BA, User Task members and Developers in the Corporate Lending Business in charge.
• Consolidate status report within Corporate Lending business area in charge, and reporting to Cross Functional PMO and Management.
• Coordination with stakeholders inside and outside of the Corporate Lending business area, including Business and IT, to ensure meeting their needs and expectations.
• Provide support to other related duties.

Requirements:

• Extensive PMO experience in core banking projects, trade finance projects or corporate lending projects.
• Proven ability to lead PMO tasks independently.
• Experiences in bank industry as a bank employee (will be added advantage), or experiences of service provision to bank industry as a consultant.
• Familiarity with package system implementation.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Mindset to not fear challenge / undertake risk
• Strong expertise in Loan Area
• Preferable to have experience in package system implementation, e.g ACBS implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Our client is an established bank who has an approved headcount for an RM for India market. This hire will be based in Singapore for a period of time initially and required to move to India thereafter.

• Implement personal budget and performance targets for India market
• Managing relationship with corporates and FIs for the India market
• Business development to widen the client pool
• Credit analysis, reviews, following through on credit process including attending credit committee meetings when needed, and coaching ARMs

• Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of experience in corporate banking covering top tier Indian corporates and FIs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and guide the sales team’s strategy and targets, leading them to meet overall goals within budget constraints.
• Monitor sales performance and adjust activities, account management, and sales priorities as needed to achieve objectives.
• Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) in creating the annual sales budget and implementing sales programs and initiatives.
• Support the DOSM in preparing monthly forecasts for the department, ensuring adherence to budget parameters and effective cost management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients before, during, and after conferences, exceeding their expectations to encourage repeat business.
• Participate in the creation of the marketing plan, sales action plan, profit plan, advertising and promotions budget, and marketing audits.
• Track forecasts for all group and FIT segments, identifying periods needing increased sales focus to meet targets.
• Recruit, select, train, and motivate the sales team to reach sales objectives.
• Provide leadership for the daily operations of the sales team while aligning with the department’s and company’s strategic goals.

Requirements:
