1. Responsibilities

• Perform AML monitoring/review on Trade post-transaction files.
• Review/investigate Trade manual screening alerts and red flag escalated by trade processing team for potential sanction violations in accordance with SMBC policies.
• Ensure that review and investigation conclusions are adequately and properly documented for regulatory/audit level review.
• Coordinate and/or prepare the required management information reporting data as applicable
• Perform daily name screening alert clearance
• Investigate and report discrepancies and irregularities arising from transactions, system failure, etc and resolve issues including handling stakeholder’s complaints and escalating all issues to Group Head / Deputy Group Head promptly.
• Other tasks as assigned by Group Head / Team Lead

We are looking for an IT Manager/Senior Manager to join the team.

The IT Manager/Senior Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT department and ensure the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing a talented team to deliver high-quality IT services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT management, project management, and team leadership, with expertise in End User Computing, IT infrastructure, Cloud-based/SaaS solutions, Office 365, Internet access, and Firewalls.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:

· Lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

· Provide coaching and mentorship for team members.

· Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear objectives for the team.

2. Strategic Planning:

· Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.

· Identify and recommend technology solutions, including End User Computing, Cloud-based/SaaS solutions, and Office 365, that support organizational growth and efficiency.

· Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.

3. Information and Data Security:

· Serve as the primary contact for information security compliance and data protection policies.

· Collaborate with the external Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) service to secure and protect the company’s data.

· Ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

· Facilitate ongoing training for staff in data protection and cybersecurity.

4. Infrastructure Management:

· Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and end-user devices.

· Manage and enhance network security measures, including firewalls, to safeguard company data and systems.

· Ensure the availability and reliability of IT systems to meet business needs.

5. Cloud-Based/SaaS Solutions:

· Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud-based and SaaS solutions to enhance business processes and scalability.

· Work with cross-functional teams to migrate and optimize applications and services in the cloud.

6. Office 365 and Internet Access:

· Manage and optimize Office 365 services, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.

· Oversee Internet access and other security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.

7. Project Management:

· Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from conception to completion, including those related to cloud migrations and infrastructure upgrades.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

· Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.

8. Vendor Management:

· Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, particularly those related to cloud services and security solutions.

· Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.

· Stay informed about market trends and recommend changes to vendor partnerships as needed.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
