Job Description

Responsible for finance functions including month-end and year-end closing.

Maintain partial or full set of accounts, including audit schedules.

Maintain full set of accounts across organisaton's programmes and student care centres, including maintaining general ledger

Process vendor payments and staff claims.

Cashflow management to support operational needs.

Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports in compliance to statutory requirements.

Ensures compliance with audit and statutory requirements.

Reporting for government grants and funding received.

Process donations and issue tax-deductible receipts for qualifying contributions.

Monitor and manage fixed deposits and other investments.

Management Reporting

Analysis of budget and year-on-year financial variances.

Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgeting.

Prepare periodic management reports to support management’s decision-making.

Governance and Risk Management

Assist in preparing board governance documentation to maintain compliance and support best practices.

Provide administrative support for risk management activities, including organizing documentation and reporting on compliance.

Ensure adherence to organisation's policies and statutory requirements by assisting in routine compliance checks.

Assist in ongoing initiatives to drive improvements in business processes and corporate governance.

Administrative Support

Provide support to the corporate office’s administrative functions, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Other Responsibilities

Undertake any additional duties or ad-hoc projects as assigned by the CEO or Deputy Director, Corporate Services.

The desired candidate should be/possess

Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent relevant qualifications.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, with experience in the social services sector preferred but not necessary.

Familiarity with Singapore Charity Accounting Standards and Corporate Governance for Charities.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB).

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including VLOOKUP functions).

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidates with a mid-career change and some background in finance will be considered.

FInance Executive(AR)

Location: Jurong East

Responsibilities

• Responsible for invoicing and billing related activities.
• Prepare statement of account to customers.
• Assist in preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required according to specific deadlines.
• Perform daily reconciliation of payments.
• Process Credit Card and GIRO application.
• Attend to any billing and payment queries.
• Assist in coordinating and resolving internal and external disputes involving account receivables.
• Other finance ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements

· Diploma in Business / Finance / Accountancy

· At least with 1-2 years of related working experience

· Able to work with tight deadlines and under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Handle and authorize LC issuance, amendments, advising, and confirmation.
• Process and authorize shipping guarantees, bank guarantees, and SBLCs.
• Review and process import and export documents (DA/DP), including authorizing acceptance and payment.
• Oversee invoice financing transactions and related payments.
• Manage trade loans, reimbursement finance, and risk participation transactions.

• Experience with SWIFT Alliance: Practical knowledge of SWIFT Alliance messaging and operations.
• Strong awareness of anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CFT) measures and regulations.
