The team is open to considering individuals without prior banking experience to join the team. This would be a great opportunity for a junior lawyer to gain exposure in this sector.

Responsibilities

As a member within the team, you will be supporting the front office on the negotiations with clients on corporate banking and private banking related transactions (e.g. credit facilities/trade financing etc). You shall be solution oriented and ensure that clients’ needs are well managed both internally and externally and ensuring that any legal risks are being highlighted promptly to parties involved.

As part of the broader legal team, you will also from time to time be involve in adhoc projects/initiatives that help to drive better legal efficiency within the organization. You will up keep the legal documentations for the transactions handled to ensure that they are align with the bank’s standards and also with market’s best practices.

Requirements

You are a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years PQE, gained in-house or in private practice. You will be a team player who can work independently. You will need a valid work visa in Singapore. You can start work with short notice and you can commit to a 4 months contract.
